I remember a LBJ interview after Miami had lost (heavy) on the Spurs talking about Manu "Stop him? You can't stop him when he is on fire. I know him, I've played against him many times. This guy is a legend". Coming from the best player in the NBA it says a lot.
The most underrated player ever. Why?because in his best season coaches dont chose him to all star, also becuse all the people talk about Tim Duncan and Tony Parker in the succesful of San Antonio Spurs and nobody talk about Ginobili. When Spurs lose all the people blame Manu Ginobili like last nba finals.UNJUST WITH MANU.
as a spurs fan, and a ginobili fan (favorite player) i do think he was very much a problem in the heat's last final win, with more turnovers than points. but, i do know that the good outweighs the bad by far. he is the most underrated player ever, i agree. he will be the most underrated IN THE HALL, no doubt
Manu Ginobili deserves to be in the HOF. He has proven himself worthy. The San Antonio Spurs would have two rings less if not for him. Truly one of the best ever and my favorite player.
Plus he's one of the greatest International players of all time - he has a gold medal for Argentina, in addition to EURO championships. His achievements abroad alone should get him into the HOF.
Manu will always be a legend in my book, one of the greatest basketball players I've ever seen. His competitiveness, Incredible basketball IQ, unique style of play, its just unmatched. What a great career he's had! Lots of big games in big moments for him, such a vital piece to the Spurs success. He's one of a kind and Im so damn glad he's a San Antonio Spur!!!
gracias por hablar asi de mi idolo es un orgullo yo como argentino leer estas palabras que otra persona comparte sobre manu lo disfruto y espero que viva en sus memorias
Sometimes I just forget that Manu is from my own country, I can not believe how much he has adapted to the game in the USA, and see that many people regard him as one of the best players in the NBA, makes me very proud. Thanks for making me feel this.
RC might be the mastermind behind the scenes that makes it all happen Pop might be the genius on the bench that brings out the best of all Spur players Duncan might be the rock and foundation that everyone relies on Parker might be the lead conductor that leads this great offense Leonard might be the humble yet bright future But for my money Manu is the heart and soul of this team...a extraordinary all around talent and fierce competitor that doesnt get his due...you are the man Manu....good luck on another ring this season

Manu is one of my favourite players ever. Well, he cannot be rated with all time greatests, but his passion to the game, the great heart and creativity makes anyone who watch him to love him. When he is not injured, you don't want to play against him.
Manu will always be a legend in my eyes one of the best players to ever play the game. I'm so glad he is with the San Antonio Spurs 2014 NBA Champions 🏆. #SpursNation
I used to not like this guy for some reason, but how can you dislike somebody when the way they play basketball is this beautiful? 5:48 is the BEST pass I have ever seen. Easily HOF... GINOBILI!!!
He liked it when he still got hair as he uses the strands to accentuate contacts. Now that he lost his hair, he drops his slippery bald head when he drives to take advantage. Craftiest player ever.
Great video and people stop asking Dunkman827 to make videos for other players when he already has the classiest and hardest working player in the NBA highlighted right here! Go SPURS!
I don't understand why people call the Spurs boring when they have two of the craftiest finishers in the league in Manu and Tony plus how can you not enjoy their terrific passing?
maybe because Americans are used to se great spectacles... that is great dunks... like LeBron, or Wade..... but the Spurs don't need to do any fancy dunk to kick ass... so they think that's boring
spdutahraptor777 it's the media that's feeding the general audience with what are supposed to be "highlights" and "great plays" just look at the youtube channel of the NBA, most of the top 10 plays have dunks. dunks aren't plays...it's a shot. lol.

spdutahraptor777 sure in the all-star weekend...it's supposed to be purely for entertainment, but people can't just appreciate that basketball is a sport and it is also a science. Pop and the spurs are what basketball fanatics love to watch, the others who watch just for the highlights are prolly those that have never played in a league and do not appreciate the beauty and precision of the spurs.
As a Laker fan I hated the Spurs because they where the best competition that Lakers had to face in order to advance to the finals. I remember seeing ginobili take the clutch shot or make a pass that would aww me. Ever since he made that Dodge ball pass I was astonish of his vision iq and since then I am proudly a spur fan

I don't care about records or statistics, and I can't believe there are so many Ginobili haters. You just have to see him play, there's no way you don't enjoy it. This should be the class of player for a HoF, not the cuantity but the cuality. Amazing video.
@@MrTheRevertz in fact he could be top 2. No nba player would beat an all star team by himself as ginobili did in 2004 against the USA, ginobili had oberto and nocioni as teammates, only probably Jordan would have done it and that is doubtful too.
If think about it, you could say he's one of the all time greatest 6th man in the nba. And one the creative player of this generation when it comes to offense.
The most underrated, under appreciated and under used player by far in NBA history, probably in the entire sports history. He is all time 2nd best guide. The only one is better than him is MJ.
Unfortunately, Manu was not world champion, but runner up once. He was knee injured for the final in Indianapolis (where the referee was also a factor).
MAuric10bal factor??? he was the reason why we lost... Manu was picked for the best team of that tournament... it wasn't because of manu's injury that we lost... the referee robbed us
I find your point of view a little too literal. I think that starters aren´t always the best in coach´s opinion. It´s a matter of rotation. It´s hard to call Ginobili a bench player when Pop never leaves him on bench in crunch time. But that´s just my opinion. Please excuse my lousy english. Regards
dumass monte bench player? but from the 'bench' he can win a game in a blink of an eye and raise the level of play of his teammates in such a way that not even Kobe or Lebron are able to sometimes ... and that's not an exageration. I've seen games and games and more games with Spurs down in their score and, after only 3 to 6 minutes of Manu in court, that's enough to allow all around him (even bench players that VERY RARELY score too much) to start scoring, assisting and/or rebounding better to finally win the match. And remember, Parker almost NEVER ends-up closing a matchs' score. At those moments ... it's Manu & Duncan and less frequently others - like Robert Horry in other times - who had the ball in their hands ... That said ... u don't need to be 35 minutes per game in court to be a winner and a more successful and decisive player for your team than others who have more minutes but end-up losing their matches.
Beautiful and great song to match and to me the 2nd best SG EVER in my eyes.. I know yall will say Kobe but what this guy brings to the table ill definitely go with Manu all day hands down.. his PLAYS Ř COLD💯
With Manu Ginobili you had to watch out for 4 things: his drive, his passes, his three point shooting and your legs... yep, YOUR LEGS because he saw a pair of spread legs as a hoop too. Without question! most underrated player ever in NBA history and anyone can see that by only looking at the comment section of this video, mostly all latinamericans and some europeans talking great things. I don't count because I have commented in Barkley's, Olajuwon's, Jason Williams', Dominique Wilkins', Big Ben's and many other amazing NBA players videos also, if they were amazing and unique, I will always remember them.
I have seen both players and i can said Manu Ginobili is most skilled player than Marciulionis.Manu is better three point shooter than Sarunas which was mid range shooter,Gino have scored more than one thousand threes.also Ginobili has been better passer.Marciulionis played in Golden State team that was leader in scoring with Don Nelson like head coach with players like Chris Mullin,Tim Hardaway,Mitch Richmond,Mario Elie,in 1992 averaged almost 130 points per game,a team with high tempo while Ginobili has played with a team with low scoring and low tempo, altough have changed the style last seasons Gregg Popovich taking many open three point shoots.I AM TOO ARGENTINIAN.CHAU Y AGUANTE MANU GINOBILI
