Med student here - aspirin is used to prevent blood clots and thin the blood. As far as we have been taught it has nothing to do with birth weight, so I would listen to the consultant who prescribed it!! 💗
I'm happy for both of you on your new citizen of England coming into the world. In America it is common for doctor's to prescribe aspirin for pre-eclampsia until 36 weeks of pregnancy. I'm a nurse and I've never heard of aspirin for "low birth weight."
I was put on aspirin during my pregnancy since I had pre-eclampsia & I'm pretty sure my OBGYN said it was also to help prevent blood clots. She definitely didn't bring up anything about low birth weight.
Yeah, no doctor here, but low birth weight and aspirin don’t really make sense. I also used aspirin for pre-eclampsia and I had the swollen legs like she did previously.
I was prescribed asprin, but it was only for like the first 6 months, and it was to avoid blood clotting (had previous early miscarriages) 🤔 also I was 29.
I have to take aspirin in all my pregnancy’s to reduce blood clots and thin the blood because I have high bmi this is my 5th pregnancy and all we’re c sections they only normally prescribe it if u have had lots of pregnancy’s and if your bmi is slightly high xxx
Why not get in touch with the professional who prescribed it!! They will tell you the reasons why, rather than asking for random people on the internet , who will all have different medical histories- just saying 😂
@BridieGen And you would think after commenting on so many the families videos, you'd shut your astronomically sized mouth. Don't have anything nice to say then maybe the adult and grown up thing to do would be to keep it zipped, 🙄🙄
Isabelle should try goodreads if she hasn't already! its great for finding new books that fit your style and she can even make lists of books to get to help people buy books for her!!
I used to take disposable nappies for the first couple of days and then switch to cloth once they were done with the black/green tarry poops. The first poops stain your lovely nappies really badly and is awful to try and clean out of cloth.
If it was me I'd use the disposable nappies for the first poos. In case it dyes the inserts. I know it's natural so would probably come out but don't think I could deal with bring them home to wash them 😂❤❤❤
So my 1st child was 4lb 10oz I had pre eclampsia bad I was told to take asprin with my 2nd child I never did though she was 5lb 11 then my 3rd and last child was 6pb never took asprin whilst carrying him. I just have small babies obvz 1st 1 was so small due to placenta not growing proper because of pre eclampsia
I’ve just searched it up and it states on an nhs website that low dose aspirin is prescribed in pregnancy to help prevent high blood pressure, pre-eclampsia, low birth weight and still birth. So maybe it’s their both right xx
I had many scans for both my girls bcos they said they were small and both were born just over 7lb always safe for extra tests and more scans bonus 😊 love the bond between u and Isabelle like best friends I hope when my girls are older we are like this 😊
Thankyou for sharing with us all sarah you look beautiful❤ All my 3 girls were on time and all weighed between 4 and 5 pounds fullterm they were all tiny babies ❤
I got told 9 years ago to take aspirin to lower the chances of blood clots in pregnancy as I am overweight 🙄 there’s too many conflicting advice given from different professions it’s actually scary
Ahhhhi love that hat. I live in Colorado. You guys love snow so much. You HAVE to go to Aspen... it's gorgeous. It's exactly the winter wonderland you love.COME TO COLORADO SOME DAY.
As soon as u realise ur in labour try to remember to put ur primark black bra top on cus when u are in the full throws of labour as u know u can’t be bothered to do anything so squeezing in to ur bra too is not gona be appealing to u. Lol ❤

I’m currently pregnant and I was given aspirin because of my raised BMI and try and prevent pre-eclampsia 😌
Aspirin is prescribed to pregnant woman to prevent pre eclampsia
I'm happy for both of you on your new citizen of England coming into the world. In America it is common for doctor's to prescribe aspirin for pre-eclampsia until 36 weeks of pregnancy. I'm a nurse and I've never heard of aspirin for "low birth weight."
I took asprin to prevent pre eclampsia as iv type 1 diabetes.
I’m pregnant and have been prescribed aspirin in both of my pregnancies, to prevent pre-eclampsia 😊
Aspirin helps prevent pre eclampsia in older women or those with high bmi
My youngest was 6lb I that’s normal
I was prescribed aspirin from 12-36 weeks in all 3 of my pregnancies (2017,2019 and 2021) to prevent high blood pressure
Aspirin does help with blood clots but it’s a start with scripts if not working per blood work.
I was put on aspirin during my pregnancy since I had pre-eclampsia & I'm pretty sure my OBGYN said it was also to help prevent blood clots. She definitely didn't bring up anything about low birth weight.

It's to tthinn the blood ,Has nothing to do with birth weight.
Asprin doesn't have anything to do with low birth weight
@AmWil-bo5qe she's telling us whst she thinks. She won't be lying to us
& saying her BMI is normal lol hahahaha
@@Sally-h3b3u another account made by same person omg its getting worse 😂
Thank you! I was given aspirin for pre-eclampsia. It’s no joke and nothing to lie about. Low birth weight isn’t 6 or 8 pounds either.
@@AmWil-bo5qeright because doctors NEVER say anything wrong, right?
I woukd speak to the professional who gave it to you
I wonder why Esme' and Isla were considered low birth weight? Im pretty sure Sarah has previously said they were both over 6lbs...that's not LOW
They have stitch bedding in primark for £19
Possible depends on the hospital and country your in.
@katieramsey2713 think u may have commented on wrong part
@BridieGen your obsessed and jealous of the family. I think deep down u love them. That's why u watch and comment on every vlog
I’m pretty sure she meant their weight was low in the womb
I LOVED the adult nappies after birth. I found the padding of them helped when sitting after needing stitches! I swore by them!
I have to take aspirin in all my pregnancy’s to reduce blood clots and thin the blood because I have high bmi this is my 5th pregnancy and all we’re c sections they only normally prescribe it if u have had lots of pregnancy’s and if your bmi is slightly high xxx
That perfume grace is one of my favorite & it is an absolutely lovely fragrance❤
Why not get in touch with the professional who prescribed it!! They will tell you the reasons why, rather than asking for random people on the internet , who will all have different medical histories- just saying 😂
I think if you watches it she did but she was looking for other people's experiences. Obviously she's following her own teams advice
@BridieGen you would think you would stop commenting but here you are
@@AmWil-bo5qe another new account
@BridieGen And you would think after commenting on so many the families videos, you'd shut your astronomically sized mouth. Don't have anything nice to say then maybe the adult and grown up thing to do would be to keep it zipped, 🙄🙄
@BridieGen not necessarily as protocols change!
Just wondering if you’ve had preeclampsia as that would be why aspirin was prescribed xx
I took aspirin for my 1st as I’m on the slightly larger side hi bmi and my first was born 6lb2.5oz but I never had aspirin with my 2nd in 2021
Isabelle should try goodreads if she hasn't already! its great for finding new books that fit your style and she can even make lists of books to get to help people buy books for her!!
Goodreads is awesome.
Agree!
Sitspa bottle, to keep your stitches clean, pyjamas, robe, nonrestructive socks with grips.
I used those discreet pad pants and they were honestly the best thing for afterbirth 👌 💯% recommend them
i have been on Aspirin for low birth weight too because my daughter was born 6lb 13.5oz at 41 weeks x
So. Pounds is now low birth weight
I used to take disposable nappies for the first couple of days and then switch to cloth once they were done with the black/green tarry poops. The first poops stain your lovely nappies really badly and is awful to try and clean out of cloth.
Why say your 34 weeks, then say your not even 34 weeks Sarah ? 🤔
Maybe she's just over 33 weeks but not at 34 week
Sarah your saying sudocrem all wrong your saying it like sudocream 🤣🙊 it's sudo crem lol
Does it matter 🤔
I say it like Sarah. It doesn’t matter
Them cars are for flow track u should get jace it it’s like 3 pound in home bargins
If it was me I'd use the disposable nappies for the first poos. In case it dyes the inserts. I know it's natural so would probably come out but don't think I could deal with bring them home to wash them 😂❤❤❤
Can u recommend icebreaker izzy??????? Or any others

Babies don’t need that many clothes when they are newborns! She has way too many clothes that kid will never wear
Sarah you are absolutely glowing...your skin and hair are just flawless 😍
I had to take aspirin for my youngest because of he’s low weight
Hi
First love your videos they always make my day ❤
Where’s the vlog
I'm 31 weeks and have been on asprin prescribed for low birth weight
Depending on the consultant and what they believe, some do recommend aspirin for low birth rates as well as for other things xx
