It's more when I'm doing improv I don't remember everything and I also get nervous when I voice act , that is one issue with not scripting videos. TBH I rushed this out in a few days because I have been too mentally unwell to work on this channel so i'm not shocked that my first video back has a ton of mistakes in it.
Well this is supposed to be another universe. An UwU universe! Maybe they didn't meet Gamma yet? Besides characterization takes time and scripting and is lot of effort when working with numerous characters. I'm positive Tails is doing their best and working really hard to bring us amazing content with each amazing individual on this channel!
Not what I expected, but I am not complaining in the slightest. It was so cute watching Amy play and take concern for Metal Sonic. I’m all for more random little adventures like this and Metal Sonic is nice to see him make an appearance.
I wish we get to see a redemption arc for the guy someday. It would be really cool to see a longtime villain redeem themselves after such a long time of fighting.
I have a sonic fan comic/ au thing which focuses heavily on the sonic bots. In that, metal isn’t necessarily evil. He’s just trying to make his father proud, and trying to get all his problems out of the way so eggman might have the time to treat him and his siblings like they are actually fully sentient instead of neglecting them most of the time. But unfortunately, the only way he thinks he can do this is if he gets all his problems out of the way, but the way he goes about solving them only causes more problems to solve! Which makes him more frustrated, which in turn makes the way he goes about solving them worse… and then he does something really really bad…
Metal Sonic needs some love. And who better to give it than Amy? Though Sonic might not be too thrilled that she's hanging out with his robot doppelganger 😅 Great video 😁

You deserve every bit of success your channel has gained over the last few years. Your cute, cheerful, caring and have a great personality. This is what I love about Amy. She always tries to see the good in everybody, even in a robot like Metal. I see this less as romantic (SonAmy Fan for life), but trying to show metal what having fun and being good is like, and I guess it doesn't help the fact that this Robot is designed to look like her favourite person in the world. (◡ ω ◡)
Okay, first off, very nice to see Metal Sonic appear on the channel (again), second, I was suspicious of what was going on before I watched this but later down the line I see he’s portrayed as an actually nice and a bit goofy robot, just programmed to do evil by Dr. Eggman, which honestly made me have a newfound kind of respect for him in a way.
I'm only at 5:07 for now but Amy's comment to Metal Sonic about being mad at it for obeying orders. It reminds me of a so called test to determine if someone is 'evil'. Voice actors were recorded screaming, complaining about pain, and such before the test and random volunteers were told they had to question someone and if that someone didn't answer the volunteer had to push a button to "shock" the person being questioned. The volunteers that obeyed and pressed the buttons were considered evil and the very few that refused to keep pushing the button were considered good. I get that it would be deadly with someone like Eggman telling you you had to zap a man that was supposedly an evil vile scum, like Roger tried to do with Stan in American Dad, but I still feel that test mislabeled the poor volunteers. I remember seeing the recreation of the test in a documentary and one "bad" guy was in tears at the end of it. A real bad guy probably wouldn't even bother asking questions and would just keep pressing the button and laugh maniacally at the end when the person being questioned "died". Now that I've finished the video, are you sure Sonic won't get jealous, Amy?

I think Eggman threw out Metal Sonic for the day for a reason. Bastion somehow hacked into Metal Sonic and took over his personality and programing, hence him looking at his hands at the dock and his rather friendly demeanor. That or he's just broken for the day lol

And also if not counting the comics technically metal sonic has been able to speak once before in this case in Sonic Heroes Eggman might have installed it recently by then before I believe in lore removed it so that metal wouldn't try to rebel once more (sonic free riders shows us that didn't work at all since even without a voice he still rebels) and metal sonic kinda had a voice in Sonic generations when you talk to him to face him he will tell you the first time you face him he says: "You must face me to get the chaos emerald!" And when you choose to face him again after beating him like to face his hard mode version he will say: "I will fight you as many times as it is necessary!" So either Eggman reinstalled the voice box later or this Metal Sonic is his past version from CD or Heroes idk don't ask me plus kinda like Shadow, Metal isn't exactly evil he's more of an antihero if you think about it it's just that he is stuck with his primitive programming and his overwhelming hatred for Sonic (he doesn't hate the others in truth if someone asked him why he's doing this he says: "It's just part of the job I've really got no choice in the matter it's either this or destruction I could leave but who'd trust me? I'm infamously known everywhere it's not like I can just walk up to someone on the street and say "Hey remember me? Well I've left Eggman so can I get a place to hide out until sometime as I can be reprogrammed properly?" No it's just not done that way because once I'm seen ai will be destroyed by Sonic or others with no possible way to be repaired there's a chance Tails won't even restore me he would probably just scrap me for parts and use me for something else." so yeah he's got nowhere to go other than back to his creator so yeah) and if he was given the chance he would have taken it if only anyone showed sympathy for a machine that has a truly pathetic existence and I think even if Eggman and Sonic died he'd have nothing else to do and no one to trust and even if someone did give him another chance he may not know what to do and quoting a song (can't remember it's name) "You gave me a life now show me how to live!" He'd just be another machine with no purpose or need to exist any longer other than to remind everyone of Sonic, Eggman and all that he has done before himself he truly has a terrible life and subtly I think he knows that I mean in the Sonic Mania Adventures videos he is advanced enough to know that his existence sucks and losing so much has caused him to develop the robot equivalent of depression and the only one tried to show him sympathy is Amy who stayed with him throughout the seasons getting him through it and returning him to his creator which makes me believe that in truth these two are compatible enough to work together (sure they'd have to adopt for familial matters and possible upgrades for "special" purposes but hey Tails could pull that off possibly idk) and that's what I believe to be right so yes I'm a proud supporter of Metamy (not sure how many people agree or if that's the official name but that's what I call it and hope I'm not alone)
Even though Metal Sonic and Amy had a bad history together in the past, Amy cares for Metal and actually let's him go to Twinkle Park with Amy and even offered to get Tails to fix Metal. Awwww, such a sweetheart Amy is.☺️💕

So either Eggman reinstalled the voice box later or this Metal Sonic is his past version from CD or Heroes idk don't ask me plus kinda like Shadow, Metal isn't exactly evil he's more of an antihero if you think about it it's just that he is stuck with his primitive programming and his overwhelming hatred for Sonic (he doesn't hate the others in truth if someone asked him why he's doing this he says: "It's just part of the job I've really got no choice in the matter it's either this or destruction I could leave but who'd trust me? I'm infamously known everywhere it's not like I can just walk up to someone on the street and say "Hey remember me? Well I've left Eggman so can I get a place to hide out until sometime as I can be reprogrammed properly?" No it's just not done that way because once I'm seen ai will be destroyed by Sonic or others with no possible way to be repaired there's a chance Tails won't even restore me he would probably just scrap me for parts and use me for something else." so yeah he's got nowhere to go other than back to his creator so yeah) and if he was given the chance he would have taken it if only anyone showed sympathy for a machine that has a truly pathetic existence and I think even if Eggman and Sonic died he'd have nothing else to do and no one to trust and even if someone did give him another chance he may not know what to do and quoting a song (can't remember it's name) "You gave me a life now show me how to live!" He'd just be another machine with no purpose or need to exist any longer other than to remind everyone of Sonic, Eggman and all that he has done before himself he truly has a terrible life and subtly I think he knows that I mean in the Sonic Mania Adventures videos he is advanced enough to know that his existence sucks and losing so much has caused him to develop the robot equivalent of depression and the only one tried to show him sympathy is Amy who stayed with him throughout the seasons getting him through it and returning him to his creator which makes me believe that in truth these two are compatible enough to work together (sure they'd have to adopt for familial matters and possible upgrades for "special" purposes but hey Tails could pull that off possibly idk) and that's what I believe to be right so yes I'm a proud supporter of Metamy (not sure how many people agree or if that's the official name but that's what I call it and hope I'm not alone)
