I saw them perform at Indian Lake in Massachusetts last week. They did every Beatle song to perfection. Every word, every note to perfection. It was the BEST concert I've ever been too. Great job!!!!!!!!!!!! This recording of course is over 6 years ago. They are even better now. It takes a lot of practice to sound like someone else, and they certainly do!!

The Fab Four are the best, as they have taken their act up several notches over other Beatles tribute act's, I feel that when you listen to this particular song or indeed any of the songs they do, they really are exceptional. I was only 12 when the Beatles sang "That boy" and I think that as the years have gone by these songs just keep getting better to listen to as many of the songs create a real "feel good" effect which is produced from the point of view that they just had such beautiful lyrics and melody, and were really well produced and these are reasons I believe that many of us think of these songs now with great affection, just watching this video makes me realise just how wonderful these songs really were, and why many people appreciated them so much, because of course nowadays much of the music we do hear (let's face it ) can be pretty bland and it really is difficult to get enthused over much of the stuff now.

When John Lennon was asked during the recording of Abbey Road whether the Beatles would ever play live again, he said that it might be too much to live up to, considering all they'd done in the studios. In other words, fans would be disappointed that they couldn't recreate the songs with orchestral or psychedelic feels or studio tricks to them. The beauty of bands like this is that they can take advantage of synthesizers, tremendous PA systems, digital tricks and such that just wasn't available before. These guys are excellent, and if the Beatles had had similar equipment available, they may not have resigned from the road when they did.

Really nice job on the vocal lines. That's what totally makes this song, and these guys really have it all down very well. I see the date on this is 5-2-08. I saw this band in April, 2008, and they did some really fine, talented, renditions of Beatle music.

My fasciniation with these Beatles tribute bands is to imagine I'm back there again listening to an actual performance. These guys pull it off as well as anyone. The big problem I have is knowing that they aren't the real creative talents behind the songs they perform so well. They're an act and a good one. I do have to wonder what their own material sounds like. I'm sure they must write music on the side.

THAT is something I've thought about for years>One of these tribute bands should release original recordings faithful to the band/era they are representing. The "Lost recordings" etc. If done with humor and insight it could be great. I'd buy. Based on that premise alone it would be way more intriguing to me than whatever pop-rot is coming out now. Fab Four, being the best of the lot, you are summoned.

Actually, I had the wonderful chance to talk to Ringo many years ago after one of his concerts and he told me they quit because with the crowds getting bigger and no security, they were concerned about their safety. Yes John didn't want to tour also because they were a band first and could not even hear themselves. At Shay stadium they were not even playing the right cords and the rhythm was off , they could not hear Ringo.
