  • The Dallas Cowboys are exploring the concept of a running back by committee approach, but the question on everyone's mind is whether it will ultimately succeed. Here are some key points to consider:
Diverse Skill Sets: Highlight the variety of skill sets among the Cowboys' running backs, emphasizing how each brings something unique to the table, from speed and elusiveness to power and versatility.
Reduced Wear and Tear: Discuss the potential benefits of distributing carries among multiple backs, including reducing the risk of injuries and preserving the longevity of each player's career.
Matchup Flexibility: Explore how a running back by committee approach provides flexibility in adjusting to different defensive schemes and exploiting matchups, allowing the Cowboys to keep defenses guessing.
Team Cohesion: Emphasize the importance of teamwork and camaraderie among the running backs, as they work together to support each other and maximize the effectiveness of the ground game.
Results-Oriented Approach: Conclude by acknowledging that the success of the running back by committee strategy ultimately hinges on its effectiveness in producing results on the field, and express optimism for its potential to elevate the Cowboys' rushing attack to new heights.

At this point in my fandom of the Cowboys i figure any time someone is linked to the cowboys as a possible option for trade or whatever it's just click bait or they farming engagement. At this point i have been linked to the cowboys.

The biggest issue last year was the O line. It doesnt matter who is rb if you cant block, the draft fixed that. Dowdel/Davis/Deuce will fight Zeke for the start. But I do think Zeke is coming back to retire in Dallas. Leupke will probably stay as FB/TE/RB. Deuce needs an entire game as #1 to show he is worthy to start. You cannot telegraph his plays like last year. Using Deuce in the WR role as well is a key, at Kansas he made some big YAC.

Biggest issue last year on Running in 2023.. Was McCarthy going up the "A" Gap 85% of the time. The easiest play in football to defend against.. a run up the middle. Worst place for an ellusive RB to go- no room to make moves in the heavy traffic. Doesn't help that Tyron was old and brittle.. and that Steele was not 100% AT ALL from his ACL. Or that Biadasz was having a less than 100% year. Up the middle means straight ahead blocking = power blocking, bad for a hurt or old or struggling lineman. Dumbest running/playcalling I have seen in my life = absolutely criminal. I bet Pollard was absolutely jazzed to be leaving McCarthy behind. If Tennessee runs Pollard mostly outside the tackles.. you'll see him bounce right back to 5 yds carry- what he had before McCarthy took over playcalling.

Rico and Freeman can do more than Zeke. No need to have signed him. And I like Zeke. Vaughn needs to get carries. And hunter. Peat definitely should at the least be a ps squad.

Yes Deuce has an big chance.Too many keep downing on Duece. I can't understand why but it is what it is when it comes to Duece. But I'm here to tell you all STOP WITH the judging on Deuce because of his height. DC4LIFE 💙💙💙❤️❤️❤️❤️
This team is about to Ball out.
Welcome back Tuck you continue on doing what God has put in front of you. Aameen

Deuce averaged 1.7 yds/carry last year = pathetic. If he doubles his yards per carry to 3.4 .. he still won't be good enough to stay in the NFL.. That's the facts. Horrific performance by Vaughn in 2023.

      Bc he's not big enough!!!!
He ain't ever gonna do ish. I'm here to tell you to stop with the Deuce bs. Stop with the underdog fantasies.

It'll work, if you're not trying to win a Superbowl, the NFC, the division, or honestly a whole lot of games.
When Jerry Jones sales the team, I'll be a COWBOYS fan again.

Zeke's yards/per/game has dropped every year for the past 5 years. He averaged 38 yds/game for the Patriots last year.. and 3.5 yds/carry. Zeke averaged 2 yds/carry for the Cowboys in the playoffs in 2022 ... I would not have brought Elliott back.
