Hopefully this episode helps everyone to get a better sense of how easy it was for me to become good friends with Howard. While his humility is genuine, make no mistake about it - he's really good at what he does and makes everyone around him better. Howard, I think it's great that you chose to give such transparency into your life/background to your friends/extended podcast family. Well done.

Howard, first off, I want to say Congrats on what you have done with HHH Racing Podcast. I first found your video here on RUclips July 2021 when I was researching some races for Saratoga. From that point, I have watch everyone of your Videos/Podcasts. We first bumped into each other at the 2021 Breeders Cup at Del Mar and since that time we have meet again at the 2022 Breeders Cup at Keeneland and you were so kind in inviting me to joint you at the NHC 2023 here in Las Vegas. You allowed me to sit at your table with all the other NHC contest players at the table, this was so kind of you. During that time I was able to meet with Kyle Roscoe & Matt Miller, who are very nice gentlemen who both have strong passion for horse racing. Let me tell you all who are reading this, I have been around horse racing since 1973. I have a very extensive background around horse racing and I can say, from the first time I watched one of Howard's RUclips video's in the Summer of 2021, I have felt that Howard is a sincere person who really wants to bring something special to this sport that we all Love. I have told Howard that he and the HHH Racing Podcast have my support.
Howard, you should be VERY PROUD of the work that you have done here with the HHH Racing Podcast and for the horse racing industry. I have seen many ups and downs around horse racing in my years, but I can say this, You have moved from a grassroots, one man show to a REAL COMPANY. Churchill Downs Incorporated a publicly traded company has recognized you and your company as a PROFESSIONAL MEDIA GROUP. Your now getting that bigger stage to bring horse racing to many new people in your way. So be Proud, and Congratulations to you and the HHH Racing Podcast Team CHEERS 🍾🍾🍾🍾

Thank you for the transparency given in this broadcast. We certainly have walked similar paths professionally. On a personal note we share many of life's turning points. I LOVE the way that life brings healing to those who operate in honesty and integrity. Hoping others have the experience of sharing in this unique horse racing "family". HHH DEFINITELY stands alone in it's field....The TALENT shows itself and any project based within truth and ethics promises to remain at the top of its class.

I wasn't going to watch this episode because Im locked in derby news mode. But am I glad I did . First your podcast is one of the most informative and a must watch every week for me. But seeing the real you was great to see and love the vulnerability you showed by talking about hard times that most of us deal with but are afraid to talk to people. So seeing you so happy now after struggling is very encouraging to me that I as well can do it. You came up with a great idea and Im sure you have worked your ass off to keep improving and it shows. Take care And I will continue to be a regular viewer. Thank you

Thank you Howard for telling us your story. So many of us can relate in some way. Only met you once briefly at Arlington and you weren’t used to having people come up to you yet. But you’ve certainly come a long way in a short time with your podcast. There’s a lot of very good people in the industry and I am grateful I stumbled on to your podcast. Great team you’ve assembled. Keep up the great work and come on Tapit Trice🙌

Hi Howard - just finished watching your journey video and thoroughly enjoyed it. I am proud to be a day one viewer and fondly remember those first few zoom broadcasts where you were kind enough to allow me to make an occasional appearance. I am hoping we will be taking in the next week and a half discussing our big Tapit Trice hit. All the best going forward.

I thoroughly enjoyed this biographical piece, Howard. I believe the reason you have been super successful in this sphere has been your decision to commit to both journalism - with your interviews of jockeys, trainers, punters and and other horse lovers - as well as exhibiting your considerable tipping prowess. The decision to expand and include co hosts was also inspired. I very much enjoy the contribution of both Paul and Pete with their contrary opinions, other ways of betting and valuable experience. And the Kyle spin off also works tremendously as it is a tip to the youth, something this once great Sport of Kings needs to nurture. I had initially tuned in half hoping to find out you had arrived on planet earth in an egg shaped space craft sent by the gambling gods of the planet Ork, but it turns you have a story like most of the rest of us: Your town like any of our towns. Hard working, loving parents that you will always cherish. Random family and personal joys and struggles. Careers aspirations. Some fulfilled. Others now in full swing. It's all there. I was thinking recently how one day you were going about your business in the Chicago area, unknown except to your family, friends and colleagues. School, Arlington Park, dinner with your brother and now you are national and global phenomenon, a trusted source, with so much to contribute to the game. My father once told that Horse Racing people are the best in the world. I never really know what he meant. I do now - whether it has been engaging with you on the show and or the recent wonderful personal interactions I had some owners and trainers and their staff at the recent Aintree Grand National meeting. They care. This sport is still connected to the grassroots in ways others have long not been. And I know that you presence in the sport will only expand. I am glad I can you a friend. best, davy. PS Maybe it's time I lose that 20 year old profile picture.

Very touching story, Howard. So happy you took the time to let us know more about you. You and your brother do resemble your father and I am sure your parents are Very proud of you and your success. I really appreciate all you do to help find winners in the game with your videos and blogs. HorseRacing is a tough game! But love of horses and the chance to win $$ keeps us dedicated to the sport. ❤️🐎

Maywood Park = Maywood Mania LOL, thats what we called it. 1st track I ever went to was Sportsman's Park, about 1966, for harness racing. Made my 1st bet at 14, it was winter and I had winter clothing on and hat and nobody cared, they just took the bets, I was in the $2 show line, horse paid $2.40 and I thought I was rich. LOL. I also was a proud member of the Broken Down Horseplayers Club, Balmoral Chapter. Saw Dr. Fager and Nodouble win the Hawthorne Gold Cup, I was right there next to the winners circle, great fun. A horse named Vif finished 2nd to Nodouble, I was standing next to the owner/trainer by the winners circle before the race, they went crazy when he got up late for 2nd, nipping Verbatim near the wire, as they claimed him for only 20K earlier in the meet.

Howard do you have a video to explain better betting at the Otb. I know caveman bets. Very rudimentary. Need some direction
