RestInPeace was my first Bones song, i randomly clicked on it on youtube and became fan instantly and i went through his entire discography at that time
My friends played one of his songs and since then I’ve loved basically all of his music and continue to find new ones that I love

I went to his concert last year when he went on tour with Xavier Wulf and Eddy Baker, and I may be imagining things, but I believe he did play “RestInPiece” at the Detroit concert LOL. But one cool thing they all did was they all performed together. They didn’t go once at a time… if that makes sense? Then they’d ask the crowd what song they wanted to hear and they’d do em. Super dope concept

I first found BONES when I got in my friends truck, just installed a new sound system and he played HDMI. I was like WHO THE FUCK IS THIS? And I went home and dove into his already diverse discography back in 2015. I went to my first SHWB show in 2016 Halloween Night. People jumping off the balcony. BONES, Chris Travis, and Wulf all jumping into the crowd with us. Met BONES brother Eliot outside and he was super cool, gave me a hat. I’ve been to rock shows that don’t compare to SHWB. Great memories
I found bones recently at the start of 2024, i wanted to listen to new things so I changed my Spotify to play recommended songs and that’s how I found him through a song called ‘loosescrew’. Same way I found $B and it’s all I listen to now.
I was on instagram watching reels about cars and one of the background songs was airplane mode and I loved it
At.long.last.a$ap was where I first heard him. ASAP Rocky’s 2015 album. He’s “featured” on the song canal st. Really it’s more of a sample because asap used the hook from bones’ song dirt as the chorus on canal st
So I went to my first Bones concert around this time last year and Xavier Wulf did the opening song and Bones usually does a song off a newer project to start off from what I’ve seen. Also I first found Bones in 2013 randomly on SoundCloud when I was in middle school.
I was really into finding underground rap artists in the SoundCloud era. Found Bones in 2014 from “WhitePunkOnDope”. He’s been my most listened to artist ever since.
I first heard bones from asap rocky sampling him on canal st. I’m always surprised that that’s not a very common way of finding him
@@taskerwinslow8697 I actually asked on the TeamSESH Subreddit a month ago about how people first discovered Bones, and although there were a ton of different experiences shared, many mentioned they found him through Canal St. in 2015. I think that A$AP helped introduce a lot of people to Bones. 🤙🔥
Found Bones about 11 years ago through the Reddit front page showing the song Dirt because people were interested that there was an upcoming rapper that wore black metal merch and had a darker blend of the genre. It was kind of a refreshing thing at the time because it was a darker style like people had seen before but more trappy or “modern” and you had quite a few other new rappers at the same time either taking inspiration or bringing something new like Yung Lean, Rozz dyliams, spooky black. SoundCloud blew up around this sorta time so many people were hearing this underground rap and music. I was into basically metal only and some techno so the transition to rap through Bones was pretty smooth lol
When i was a kid i found a bass boosted version of okay,butthisisthelasttime. then years went by and i heard thedifferencebetweenus and i was like okay this is pretty nice and after that he just slowly took over my playlist

Bones is going on tour this summer with Limp Bizkit, tickets are pretty cheap for lawn section… I’ve seen him 5 times now and he never disappoints, and every show is different it can be a whole show of hard songs or mixup of new and old shit……I was in high school in 2016 and in class I found Bones on Suicideboys Google play radio lmao

It's funny because I use to be deep in the non maintstream music in the datpiff days when I was in high school and somehow I missed the like soundcloud side of things initially and then really my friends just put me on to Bones and my first ever hearing of him was asap rockys dirt remix with bones and at the time I was on my senior trip and loved the hook and didn't even realize who it was for a hot second lol but yeah ever since discovering his music, Ive seeked out all I can find of it and frequently listen to most of it. Might be weird but BONES and NF the only two artists I heard for the first time and then have followed every step of the way ever since and loved 99% of their music (this is in no way comparing them just my personal two favorite artists)

I discovered Bones thru an old RUclips channel called GIFs with sounds. Where it's a compilation of random funny videos with no sound but they put music or different sounds onto the video. And on one of their videos there was Gif of a skeleton dancing with Bones "Deadboy" song which you guys should definitely check out and that beat and sound had me hooked the first 5 seconds of that clip and I just knew I had to find out who he was and thanks to Shazam app. I found Lord Bones
