Its a good off roader but on road its performance is weak the gearbox used in this vehicle was there on old suzuki A star 4 speed gearbox and an old k series engine nowadays our roads are improving we need better performing engines. Suspension side is superb i drove this car and cancelled booking. In india its failed huge discounts are offered still its sales is dropping. Gypsy also had hard core fans but how many of them bought it
I don't agree with what you said completely. On road it's good for a normal use. I have traveled from Mumbai to cochin, two times to Calicut, figure out wht is the best speed to cruise and then you will enjoy

Its not a vehicle for a common man which explains why the sale is low,. Once people realise the capability slowly crowd will follow,. Currently the market has a lot of negative feedback due to fans of other competitors, and as u said maruty dont advertise much for their vehicles,. But in market ithreyum user friendly and easy Maintence with low cost which other vehicle is there in the segment? Not to say the availability of spare parts anywhere,. Yes looks and the over pricing has affected the sales but its not underpowered and it has the best power to weight ratio to do any offroading,. It can be upgraded easily with aftermarket ready to fit parts without any alterations or modifications affecting the aesthetics,.
