Instant nostalgia-chills. Any time this song came up in the game, I'd stop what I was doing and listen.
The Rogue Wolf yeah! And when the other soundtrack played.. I was like "Wait... What am I doing?" XD
Oh look mum I found a another afk player lololol XD

Every time I hear this I get these bittersweet memories, like I've forgotten something important. This is an advanced kind of sadness.
I remember my first world. I was just a little noob back then. I built this really tall castle next to a volcano that i had made... That was three years ago. The computer sadly blue screened and the mother board was fried. I never got that world back.
Wello Bello This music makes me remember of my first time playing the game back in 2010, I was kinda scared of monsters so built a tiny house made out of dirt and sand, was really a noob, didn't even know how to craft a fucking Pickaxe! x) I was 10 back then.

You first get into minecraft and you look around and it's like paradise until night time when the monsters come out and then you get scared. Now you are a professional minecrafter and you know everything like mods and the best structures, but something deep inside you is missing. You wish you could go back in time when you were a noob and experience things all over again but at the same time you appreciate everything you know now. This is how this song makes me feel.
Exactly. I miss the lack of knowledge about the game ;w;
well said❤
My Balls Ich
it's about the journey, not the destination
So everyone in the comments keep saying they miss the old Minecraft, as do I my fellow veterans! Unfortunately there are just some things that we can't bring back. It's not that the game has changed (well it has but you can just select the game version). What i'm trying to say is that I think what everyone misses the most is being a noob. Just simply being blind to the game, discovering new things... That's what updates are for, but when Notch (Markus Persson) handed the development over to Jeb well... he did it his way and obviously it was a drastic change and we were used to the Notch way. Ever since 1.3 it wasn't the same, but i'm not going to complain either... Because although I miss the old Minecraft I have still made some unbelievable memories above and beyond old Minecraft. New friends, the discovery of factions, minigames that I got kind of bored of now... yeah those were fun. In the long run, nothing will ever be the same forever. So enjoy Minecraft while you still can. At least it's not the shittiest game on the market yet. Sorry for the long post and "Just keep minecrafting". pece.
*tears in eyes*
Well done...
*clapping*
Well, done...
*sniff*
I miss being blind to the game.
Amen
The song goes so well with this message :)
Also, I loved how I used to build cool structures, and it didn't make me give up. Now, my builds are a little too tiny. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I want to be a noob again.
I miss having a heart attack when I hear or see a creeper, or just any mob for that matter :^:
“Alright we’ll play tomorrow ok?”

I felt this. Now that I can't even play it on PC anymore because it doesn't run on my shitty computer, and I'm stuck on the PS4 version :( so I can't even try

"This is enough to make a grown man cry."
Minecraft isn't about the servers.
It's not about the mods.
It's not about the players.
It's not about any of that.
Minecraft is about the experience. It's about that feeling of exploration as you venture through those caves. As you climb those hills. As you discover new things as you play the game. As you experience the pain and celebrate the victories. Minecraft is about that feeling of accomplishment as you get better and better. And the music of Minecraft helps shape that feeling and shows you.
Life isn't all about the good things in life.
Life is about the struggles, the accomplishments, the battles, the victories, and finally. The experience that you have as you grow, as you age. and Minecraft, shapes that perfectly.
Finally someone gets it!

7 years later, probably hits you even harder.
This channel brings back my faith in humanity
This brings me back to the old days of no mods, no hacks, no multiplayer, no texture packs, no creative mode and no haters. In other words, this brings me back to the good times, and every time I listen to it I cry because I remember that those days are over.
that times were not better. Using a older version won't help. You miss your noob times, when the game was more difficult to play, so it was funnier. Now, you know how to play and maybe you are a pro.
PS: that oooooold versions were kinda shit.
I feel like the old sounds were much more nicer. 1.9, the chest opening is now a fart noise.
Plus, the simpler the game was, the easier it was to just appreciate what was there for you. That's what I think. Plus, there used to be less kids, and it was less about Samgladiator's "Yandere high roleplay" or DanTDM and his adventures with his doctor and dog bullcrap, and more about epic structures of creative proportions.
+Suilven Chambers Haha, without creative mode? Minecraft is easier than Angry Birds in Survival Mode, even today XD
Creative is its _only_ redeeming factor, and it's a thoroughly bland concept. Building Voxels? That's existed since Voxels themselves.
Flotts Agreed. The server I used to play on is mostly Vanilla, but has a bit of plugins, yet people on the forums still ask for more /sethomes from time to time. Only mod-packs now make it harder, or any game-play modifications.
Vincent Tan and there's no good API, so most mods are complete trash. I don't like Minecraft very much at all, to be honest. The community is very cringey, and being NOT cringey is seemingly frowned upon in most servers...
Years will pass and this musical theme will always make me cry with happiness🥹🥺👍👍🥰

I watched RUclips minecraft videos way back then when it was in alpha. I remember the cold, clean air smell coming from my window as dawn arrived. I watched those videos to death. When I first got Minecraft, I gotten it right when 1.8 had arrived. I may have never played the old Minecraft, however this music really brings the nostalgia of just watching all of those old lets players play the old minecraft while I sat on my cold chair. Thanks.
You can play retro minecraft with the new launcher now. just edit yur profile and change teh version.
Damon Steele I know, I just feel as if I won't have the same nostalgic factor a person who played it back then would.
LevittownPaIsSpecial Lol, my nostalgia is on a different perspective where I didn't play old minecraft.
MrCrasherdog Well, i remember those good ol' days. damn, i wish i could go back. i'm on to portal and games more advanced. sadly i will miss Minecraft. i now make mods for the game, but every now and then i play a bit of vinalla. i hate Microsoft owning the damn thing. they made it slower and added useless crap to the game. i heard that Mojang will shut down the game or at least stop updating it in 2019. i hope that's not true, but then again i don't play the newer versions. i can't. i can only go to 1.7.2 . no higher. soon this game will be lost in time just like portal was. you won't see it coming. i love the small things in life and minecraft is one of those things i love. some people will be reading this way before the new versions. damn you microsoft coming out with a minecraft 2. how dare they insult us! iv'e heard thats true. well if you are still reading, know that i will be one with the past of Minecraft. hm, minecraft. yes. good bye friends. I will not be seeing you in the further updates of the game. i hope in 2019 that the game lives on. it will in my heart. see you around. well, not in the future anyways. once again, goodbye. -Translucents

Hello comments. I'm here from the future and have come to inform you that Minecraft has made a comeback. Bye now
yes, our lord has risen
I love this song and the nostalgia is awesome but everytime I try to play Minecraft it's just extremely boring compared to when I first started.
+Ethan “Preebus” Lang Feel ya mate! i remember the first magical days of MC :) Explore everything XD
then I recommemd playing with mods like orespawn and nevermine... Very entertaining!
I agree with you.
***** switch to pc
me too but I stopped playing becuase the world I was working on ghot deleted when I upgraded to windows 10. after that I lost all motivation to play.
just reminds me of 2011 when i played minecraft on my ipad for the first time ever and me and my friends created our first ever survival world and watched stampy religiously
This song brings back memories of when I started playing Minecraft 1.4.. I remember sitting on the ground getting goosebumps every time I launched the game on my Xbox 360. I can remember my first survival world, my house, the biome. Heck, their was only 3 biomes when I started playing.. What I'm trying to say is.. I really miss being a noob.. And sadly I will just have to deal with the fact that nothing lasts forever. Remember that..
Listening to this while staring at my wall... My wall with all of my old pictures of my old world, pets, builds... Ppl may say it's just a game, but even games get you through hard times when no one else can.
I hate the new 1.7 music. It was so annoying that I had to turn music off completely. I wish they had just kept the originals... I miss them ;_;
You can go into your folders and change the music, or delete it completely.
They did... there's just new music too.
They kept the old ones but they also added new ones. The new ones hardly ever play for me :(
C'mon they aren't so bad,give them a chance
(Except the boss music,if there was any battle atmosphere,it was ruined)
Augusto Vasconcellos I love all the music, even the boss music, it give the bosses feeling to them, while you're trying to snuff their evil souls out. I turned it off, becuase it kept playing 2 or more over each other :P
0:20, i started to cry...
No joke, there are tears on my face...
This was the very first Minecraft song i ever heard...
Back in 1.2.5 was when i first played it, i built a big ol' brick house which i accidentally blew up one time. It was my first time playing so i was in creative mode.
It's been something like 4-2 years i've had Minecraft on my shitty little computer. And i've cherished every block placed, every pig slain, every dungeon explored, every wolf tamed, every house built, every ore mined, every creeper explosion, every time i died, every time i lived, and every moment i spent with Minecraft.
It's been nearly 3 years (i think), and i love it still the same, with all my nine pixelated hearts.
There needs to be a resource pack that replaces the default songs with these.
Im gonna make that

Man I cried while listening to the music, I may have been late to the party (2016-2017 ish.) This music is nostalgic as hell, taming your first dog, building your first wooden hut, being paranoid by monsters at night. It all comes in to make Minecraft a game that you don’t just experience, but one you eternally remember.
This is clearly the most beautiful Mice on Venus remix!
ikr!
+Ævdun You said "It is clearly the most beautiful Mice on Venus remix!" about the Blake Robinson version.
Btw this would be considered a re-make not a re-mix.
Cat418 I agree. I should have put it in that way instead.
This song really captures the very essence of Minecraft. Not the original song, THIS song. Someone took something simple, and made it into something truly beautiful.
I miss the days when Minecraft was about Exploring, Creating, Learning, Finding, Imagining, Making, And Dreaming, The game is different now, And it's not the Minecraft I used to know anymore.
+TreachC I know right ;-;
+xVellinax When I|m bored at Creative sever, I|m remembering in my very first world... Afraid of Zombies, Creepers and Endermen... such nooby memories :l :) :/
+TheJman0205 You don't understand what I'm saying.
+TheJman0205 Not only that, but it just seems like friendly honest people aren't a thing anymore. And it's quite rare coming across one.
+Slapson If you started playing MC in 2012 then you don't know what Minecraft used to be. I started playing in 2010 and stopped in 2013. IMO the last good update was 1.7.3 (Beta ofc). Then 1.8 came in and turned this cool game about building and surviving into and RPG. Now Minecraft lost all of it's charm. This game is filled with little kids that never played Survival Mode, and there are no Vanilla servers, only Minigames / Factions with shitty plugins.
Ah... What a sad nostalgia this brings.
Like looking up into the stars and remembering a time since forgotten, when things were simple and full of joy, when one could imagine creating a space ship and going to Venus to see the mice as they hop through the twinkle of the night
Too bad the surface of Venus is over 400 degrees Celsius, the mice would be a fine puddle of molten blood and flesh.
Not going to lie, but the Minecraft music (original) just sounds a bit stressful giving you this feeling of depression and... Another unexplainable feeling...
The feeling of the unknown... But I also like the original version, I feel Serenity and peace, But I also feel Anxious and unsure and times.
I never thought this song could get any better. You have made it incredible. Your orchestral versions are amazing.
C418 would probably be proud of this.
favorite song from minecraft
This song makes you remmber all those times you, your brother, your friends, or anyone else you played Minecraft with. All those memories you make with people are important, they build friendships and can help you get through tough times just by remembering, a lot of memories are made by playing Minecraft. Minecraft has been completely captured in the essence of this song and for that I thank the people who recreated this song.
Adding this to my dank mixtape.
qdeanc Didn't expect to see you here!
I have never ever in my life cried because of music, but this one in particular did, as I have always loved this song as it takes me back to the times when I had no responsibilities, when life was simple, when all you could think about was what you would do or play when you got back home from school. As they say “We did not know we were making memories, we only knew we had fun”.
The soundtrack will always be great- ^^
Notch sold it to Microsoft and killed Minecraft
Crazy seeing how even 7 years back this was bringing people to tears
Makes sense, we all miss that point in our lives to an extent
Fr man, just discovered this a few days ago and it's amazing to see it

This always makes me wanna cry, but i don't. Also, i miss the old Minecraft on console, no sprint, no creative mode, no hunger bars, no stackable porkchops (although, i kinda didn't like that) can eat something, and automatically restores life. *sigh* oh i miss it so.... I don't mind the changes to the game, because it still has the old music.
I have played Minecraft on pc, but it was only a demo. I played Minecraft on the Xbox 360 first, before i played it on pc. This is why i brought up the console Minecraft instead of the ps Minecraft.
I'm sorry, i meant to type pc Minecraft.
It's so amazing that a game about blocks can keep players for years.
Quackity, thank you : ]
This song brings me up when I am down and brings me down when I am up, and my emotions go back and forth while listening. I think the nostalgia is what makes me happy, but what makes me sad is that the first day of me playing Minecraft... Is over. And there is nothing I can change about that. I'm not sure how to feel about this song, but every time I hear it start crying. I think everyone has a song like this.
Someone make a mod that replaces the music in Minecraft with Blake Robinson’s remakes.
you don't even need mods :D
This is probably the most beautiful thing I’ve heard
you didn't include the second part :(
This was the music I heard when I always went on my travels in minecraft finding and building new shelters. I was playing nomadically cause minecraft would not be minecraft without the infinite world to explore.

The soundtrack just flew over my head , I never appreciated or knew it that well. it also always gave me a bit of a headache if I had been playing for too long but now...I can’t get enough of it and cry every time I hear it.
This is a great song. It just makes me sad to hear about Minecraft's pending acquisition (and possible subsequent ruining) by Microsoft.
Damn Mustache Hell naw if they remove it off of PC that's like a major "Fuck you" to the PC Gamers and what would happen to the PC mods and servers? D:
I know, but considering what Microsoft did with Rise of the Tomb Raider, it's likely.
hurricaneomega Well, at least it isn't Disney who bought Mojang...god knows how badly they'd fuck it up...
This MUST be used at the end of the Minecraft movie!
*Microsoft ruined Minecraft, it's a fact*
When I first started playing Minecraft, my brother and I played this world and I remember creating a tiny wooden house, he made a big dirt cube that had a million creeper holes in the middle. We cleared that area in hopes to make a village, but he used it to make that damn dirt cube,, I remember a mountain, the only mountain, with one single source of water falling from the top to a pool at the bottom where my house was.
Back when my brother and I had no differences, when we had no worries.
Dearest world, I will never forget you.
That day I first saw my brother killing zombies was the first day of a life king obsession with this beautiful and endless game.
as a Minecraft veteran for being here since 1.5 I cried of hearing the first part of this song
Excellent. I had felt that a lot of your Minecraft orchestrations were simple covers, but this enhances the experience instead of replicating it. Amazing work once again.
Wherever you guys are, I hope life got better for you all. I really enjoyed the days of making bases after school and going on mining trips, getting lost, starting a new base, then finding our original houses all excited. You guys mean a lot to me, even if we don't talk anymore. I wouldn't be where I am without you all.
Holy. I want more re-orchestrated Minecraft songs. This is amazing.
It sounds heroic and glorious
By hearing this music makes me feel like a kid again all those beautiful moments but one thing I wished is that. I cherished it enough.
This is song is sad to me because it was the last song i listened to before my cat died that same night. Every time it plays in minecraft i stop and cry. I miss you Sylvester.
This made me cry because I remember watching Dan Lags Danville house tours and this song would be in every one and remembering all of the fun things that I have done in that game with my friends and it’s all gone now and now it’s just fortnite and all of the creativity in games is gone, but I’m just happy that it even happened
Minecraft was essentially the first game I ever owned. I spent most of my elementary school years staying up late with friends playing it, discussing mod ideas, theories and stories during recess, and growing up with the game. I got it in version beta 1.8. That was the update that added endermen. Now, so many years later, finding the synthetic orchestra is my latest discovery of video game content on RUclips. For the past 7 or 8 years, I've forgotten minecraft, but this. Hearing this is like coming full circle.
Remember when I heard this song, makes me cry and happy at the same time, the tune gets in my nolstagia, we can see and watch older videos of Minecraft, watch our best moments, appreciate what our old days has given us like experience, happiness, and fun, but most of all the things are that old years are the best, and we can tell us the vets experienced one of those things, so time goes by, if I were to had a time machine I'd go and find anything, ahhhh the good old times, some things make you nolstagic, others feel for it, me also experienced it, so have a good day and may the old years cheer you up

Is ... Is this the most beautiful music I've ever heard? That you would know my dear RUclipsr, that I would never have created it. These are the most beautiful notes I've ever heard
Man, I haven’t touched this game in a while. It’s been so long, so many memories were made. I remember begging my parents as a child “Daddy please buy me this game! I really like it!” It was the best choice I ever made. It used to scare me playing solo. Thinking herobrine would come and kill me in the game.. those really were the days weren’t they? Well now I just look back at all of those memories that I made in this game. You know there’s a saying.. “you can’t touch music but music can touch you”. This is what that quote means. This music made all of those memories come flushing back and now I just think.. One day Minecraft will really only be a memory. At that truly scares me and makes me sad. My children would know what a good game is and was. One day I’ll call my friends and get together to sit at the beach and listen to this song and little by little we’ll be leaving and become memories with our favorite game. Oh how much I love Minecraft. It was such a fun game and now whenever I think about it, I can’t hold back my tears.

Old minecraft videos, specifically from Caliform, Batclone, or Zackscottgames are one of two things that can literally make me cry from nostalgia. The other one being the corruption theme from Terraria. The memories...
Even though I haven't played minecraft in ages - I still think that it's soundtrack is amazing!
And you my dear sir - just made an awesome track even more awesome and simply perfect!
