For you math people there is a formula to figure out wind rings for your club accuracy. 3 - club accuracy then divide by 50. The answer will give you max values for your club. This is for 0% elevation. So if you have calculated correctly elevation can cause to be a smidge off if it's 0-10% elevation. Not totally accurate for mid or min range shots. But you will be close for short putt.
I try to figure out adjustments on the fly. I don't have GC notebook or GC caddie. Shots at max distance and 100% accuracy for club. 1 ring = 1 mph. You have 3.5 mph wind you adjust 3.5 rings. To adjust right direction rotate camera so wind direction arrow is pointing straight up. If you are pulling rings. As J Rob is doing in video.
I know about elevation. I know about the different balls making your adjustments different. But you just ran threw some videos and explained “Okay at 45% elevation your rings are going to increase.” But you really didn’t go threw how to pull rings, if that new center dot is actually .5 of the yellow ring. I wanted to know if you pull your whole target does it add .2 or .4 extra on your adjustment. I was really stoked to FINALLY watch a updated ring system video but it didn’t really help. Can you make a video explaining those things? Cause I pull my rings just like you. And I always have a hard time landing a good eagle, and definitely albatrosses.
Hey Jason! Thanks for the feedback man! I definitely appreciate you taking the time. & I completely understand where you’re coming from. I’m sorry I didn’t touch enough on that specific aspect as much! But I can definitely work on making a more in depth and advanced guide that focuses on being as spot on with your wind adjustments as we possibly can here in the near future. The goal of this video though was to bring an updated version of my already existing wind & ring tutorial, now that my contents evolved. So you may already know a lot of this information. I just wanted to give a broad analysis on the wind & ring system to give newer players that aren’t really using the system now, a different view & help bring them into our world of adjusting. So, hopefully they’ll not only get better at the game but learn how the wind & rings actually work. But yes, just like what you’re talking about I can start focusing on bringing you guys a more advanced wind guide with some pretty helpful tricks that I use for adjusting. But thanks for the support man & I hope to hear from ya in the future! Take care! 💯💪🏼
With wind adjustment, I have a question. In all the guides, you and others seem to state that the yellow ring is the first adjustment (half of it), but I have a green ring inside that (and you do too), do I just ignore that ring? Or do I adjust using that as ring one now? I'm only tour 7, so I am still very much learning and I seem to miss so many eagle and albatross chances left/right by a smidge!
@Nick Nicolini I came here for the same reason. I just watched Tommy make a sniper shot with 2.8 mph. He only adjusted 1.8 using the middle. It was 2.8 if counting the half rings. I've seen him underadjust by A LOT in the past. Now I'm wondering about the whole ring thing. Watch Tommy hole 1 shot 2 koi tournament and tell me what I'm missing. 😊
@@PaulOgie so the wind was 2.8 and sniper is 1:1 wind to rings the next thing was it up hill shot which would require a reduced ring movement. If he used the entire yellow center circle +.8 then he moved 2.8 because the full center circle is 2 rings worth of movement. Hope that helps.
@@jonboyee42 if you are using notebook for golf clash you put in the wind mpg, wind direction, club, power level of ball, along with elevation and it will tell you how many rings to move. Otherwise you need to have charts for clubs to know how many rings to move.
@@gratefuldude7511 wow, it's been a while, but I just watched hole 1 koi tournament and he only adjusted 1.8 for a 2.8 wind. It was a mid distance which would make sniper 1.1:1, but still underadjusted. IDK. I'm still missing shots by a hair alot. More than when I didn't do rings.
You don’t necessarily know elevation ever unless you already have the information before hand to PUT into GC Notebook. If you aren’t using the app it’s going to be very difficult for you unfortunately. It’s all a guessing game then.. But, that’s why looking up a guide or information on specific holes, shots, & courses is so important! My best recommendation is to create yourself a note sheet or do your best to literally memorize the different course & shot elevations. But I’d definitely start by just writing them down, because it’d take forever to actually memorize all of that information. 🤣🤷🏽. But I’ve been thinking about doing an in depth Elevation guide as well, so I’ll have to bump that up on my list of content to work on as well as an advanced wind tutorial diving a little deeper than just this general info & knowledge. Thanks for the support though! Happy Golfing 🏌️💪🏼
Hey Neal, I’ll definitely keep that in mind bro. I grind T10 a lot so I’ll have to take some of the footage & put together & T10 Shootouts guide, because most of the ones out there I’ve seen aren’t very good at all. Just not very well put together or thought out.
@@JRobGCTeamEnergy all the ones I find are older with holes that are no longer in t10 so frustrating. Keep up the great work sir and thank you for everything you've put out.
I definitely really appreciate that Neal. I’m just genuinely doing my best to try and help. & That’s what not a whole lot of people understand, they expect me to be absolutely perfect. When no one ever will be. But I’m just doing my best to make good quality GC Content for people to enjoy watching. Especially those that just like watching golf clash content while they play ect. Ya know? It’s not like I’m trying to get famous or rich by doing this lmao? That’d be a bit of an unrealistic ideal in my opinion. & We already have GC Tommy & he’s not goin anywhere... So someone’s gotta be willing to help out the newer guys? 🤷🏼💯.
Out of all the videos on this subject you are by far the most confusing. I know how to use it and was trying to show someone and even I'm confused. Way to much way too fast.

Please explain headwinds and how to play, ball to use against extreme headwinds. Good job 👏
I’m confused. You keep saying 5 rings but there is 6. green, yellow, orange, blue, clear and white
