Thanks . Its a simple way of constructing a scene . My latest vid has around 40 such camera cuts in one file so its a reliable way of working

Hi spitfire not sure if you got my reply regarding your question on the Murdoc tutorial so i thought I would post it here and sorry for the delay in answering as sometimes youtube does not inform me of a reply...I have not got my head around the mechanisim for the start up file ...i sometimes have issues with it as well but sometimes i don't and as I'm constantly upgradeing or reverting to default settings in blender too create tutorials i cant really keep tabs on whats going on, but short answer bud i think its just a glitch.

Hey very helpful tutorials!! One question: when you are animating the 3d character to later parent it to the grease pencil object, can you use bezier curves to do the path? And parent the 3d guy to the curve?

Thank you for sharing, that's helpful for me alot, question:
    1. I just see this .blend and i confused about how can you shift the object gpencil to another gpencil (bc if you not drawing in after keyframe the layer still show previous keyframe)
    2. Icon eye layer in this .blend is lock, i didn't turn on and turn off the eye, but the cloud layer or fly leaf layer, it still can. How did you do that?
I'm sorry my poor english and thank you so much for your helpful video 🥺

Hi. I think I understand. 1. You either use the eye visibility icon to hide on a certain frame , or u can just tap the pen somewhere to make a dot which will effectively make a blank frame. 2. If you look on the dope sheet grease pencil timeline, on the left u will see the layer names. They will have an eye and a lock icon. Tap the lock icon to unlock. U can also find this in the layers of the gp as an icon. I think I covered this in a video.....but I'm not sure which one . If u are still having issues let me know and I will find it

      Thank you for answer!
sorry i want to ask again, so after another look in this .blend I look the eye icon will be closed in a certain frame, for example when you want to move to the next scene the eye icon will automatically close and I also found that on the GPencil dope sheet there is a hide common, the name "layers["Stanfing"].hide[0]" and another layer: hide (GP_layer), hide (GP_layer.001), hide (GP_laye.002) so what do you think? And thank you for looking this question 🥺

@@nasiuwu3823 yes. That is what I was describing in my previous response. U have to keyframe the eye icon.u do that by pressing i on the eye icon in the grease pencil layers .Cheers

Sir what will you do for coloring can we paint background and charecter in blender

    • @SpitfireStoryboards

U can draw and paint bgs if u like by creating grease pencil artwork in distance or importing artwork but I use 3d in blender . My latest tutorial series talks about how I go Bout that. And how I use colour lights etc .
