The reason you fail to understand this is probably because you suffer from a combination of confirmation bias and cognitive dissonance. Trump didn't mock anyone with a disability . . . he used that form of mockery against people who he believed were being idiotic . . . that the person he was mocking happened to be disabled was an unfortunate accident. You should have noticed that Trump never used this tactic again . . . and probably as much for political reasons as for not wanting to mock disabled people.
But of course you have never heard any of this, and are not likely to believe the truth in this matter.
Had to set the record straight . . . there are so many actual lies of consequence on the left, it is shocking.

Now seeing conservative rightwing actors attacking college protesters tells me after Trump gets defeated AGAIN in November things aren't going to go smoothly. Normal citizens will be able to recognize these people by the fear and hate they cannot hide in their souls.
Why does everyone forget Hunter lost his Mom and sister at a very young age also?

Hunter nearly died in the accident that killed his mother and sister. He had multiple fractures, including a fractured skull and traumatic brain injuries. Hunter was nearly 3 years old.

I am a registered Republican with a strong leaning toward Independent. My family were/ are maga.
Then in 2020, I came across a new candidate Mayor Pete Buttigieg. What caught my attention was his respectful ‘adult’ personality. During interviews, even on Fox News, he would actually, actively listen to the question and then answer the question. The more I saw, the more respect I developed and the more hopeful I felt that there may be a new generation of politicians who want to “work across the aisle”, for the American people. My family called me names and mocked me. I found this whole maga movement, mind boggling, in its foundation of hatred lies and childish nasty behavior. There doesn’t seem to be any healthy discourse or compromise. Lately, I am seeing a new movement of Americans who are waking from the maga cult (purest definition) and speaking out. Thank you and welcome back, to true America, Chris Nelson. I May not agree with all of President Biden’s policies but I do believe him when he said “ I will be a President for all Americans. My father was a WWII vet who fought in the Philipines and was called up to train soldiers in Korea. He was a life long Republican. But when Trump called POW’s losers and dissed MCCain for being captured, he was done. Then when Trump praised Kim and Putin he was outraged that a president would praise the enemies of our country. Especially such despicable men. And being a real Christian, not like the Christian Nationalists, he was appalled by Trump bragging about committing SA against women and cheating on all three of his wives. I listened to President Biden being interviewed by Howard Stern this morning. The interview was amazing. President Biden spoke about his personal life and I started to cry when he spoke about Bo and his early life. He is truly a good man. It’s a must listen 👍

I stumbled on it (it's on Howard Stern's RUclips channel) about 6 weeks ago - it's an outstanding interview - and recent enough to contribute a data point to the recent discussions re Biden's mental fitness.

I will add my brother, Tim, had been an addict, could not get straight, and what I believe was due to our parents not being supportive of him - my brother committed suicide.
Prior to his death, one month to be exact, Tim told me, I need help, and no one will help me. I felt so damned bad, but I was in an abusive marriage with a one year old. I was in my own personal hell and could not help him.
I have cried many tears over my brother. He was a sensitive, sweet, kind man who just could not handle being on this planet anymore. I understand how he felt because I feel this way as well.
Life is damned hard, and not having a compassionate, cohesive family like the Bidens.... Well, I live this every day. I get it.
