First Thoughts on India | Exploring the Streets of Old Delhi

- We are heading out to explore the street of Delhi by bike riding through the chaos that is this city...this is our first thoughts on India!

We woke up super early in the morning to make our way towards Old Delhi. There we begun our exploring by jumping on some bikes and cycling through the back streets.
Our first stop was down an alleyway near Jama Masjid where we saw how a local bakery was making over 30,000 pieces of bread for the breakfast rush.
Next up we went to the Spice Markets where we got the best view of the city as the sun slowly rose in front of us. We had our Chai and watched the city wake up.
Next up we went to the Gurdwara Bangla Sahib temple to learn more about the sikh's and to volunteer in the sikh kitchen.
We ended our day with an Indian style breakfast.

I think Akshardham temple has beautiful gardens. Also try Jalebi, its a great dessert when hot. You guys bicycled in peak hour in Old Delhi? That's hardcore.

I’m pretty sure Sikh temples in Australia have 24/7 kitchens open too! I’m a Journo and was out covering a Sikh community event here in Toowoomba the other day, and just the hospitality they showed, how welcome they made me feel, even though I was just there doing a job, was incredible! They didn’t let me leave until I sat down and ate with them and that was an incredible!

Please be extra careful while crossing a handcart.They always yell because they don't have breaks attached to their carts, and they use their muscles. It's extremely painful to to stop the cart suddenly, and it could damage their back permanently. So, please remember it. Thank you.

Delhi has two sides. Old Delhi is centuries old walled city. Not meant for cars and so many people. It's okay to explore but one advice to all the foreigners please don't stay in Old Delhi. Especially in Paharganj area, where most of the backpackers stay. Stay in New Delhi, which is the capital city. Which is more organized and Green city. You may stay in Aerocity or Mahipalpur near the airport. You may explore Connaught place. You may also stay in modern cities of Noida or Gurgaon near New Delhi.
They r not here to visit modern city or malls

Loved your blog. I only wish more vloggers would visit other locations in India apart from the usual Delhi - Jaipur - Agra and Mumbai. I mean there's so much more in India apart from the crowds, wholesale markets, cows, slums and spicy food!
Try visiting Ladakh, The North Eastern states, Andaman & Nicobar Islands, Kerala etc.

Great content..Would suggest you to go to the smaller villages like in Haryana, punjab or any other indian state...You can see the other side of india there..I, being born in India and raised there for most of my childhood, love the village life more than the city...Keep up the good work...Love and peace

I dont know if you've been to cambodia (siem reap) but this remids me of that. We did the angkor wat tour in 3 days with bikes. So we went from the city to the temples with the bicicles and it was also really crazy..
