It's a shame I haven't seen many people making theory videos about "To the Moon" series like you, I mean such detailed theory videos (there are only 2: about "To The Moon" and "Finding Paradise", but not about "Impostor Factory" - you can search those video titles: "To the Moon - The Fading Memory of Neil | SwankyBox" and "Finding Paradise - Neil’s ULTIMATE Goal! (Faye’s Purpose)"). I love making theories about "To the Moon" series. I bet Kan Gao even provokes his audience to do exactly that. Now, after playing "Impostor Factory" I know some of my ideas what could it be were totally different, but the main core stays the same, and I was right (just like you) - Neil created an artifical "paradise", where people's minds (their memories, conscience, etc., you may say "souls") are transferred to (and even without the requirement of being at the deathbed, as we saw Neil could enter the machine at any time). This theory of "paradise" was totally confirmed, and Neil's backstory even supported his reasons more. But, as you said in your video, there are still unanswered questions. We know we watched simulations instead of the REAL reality in "To The Moon", "Finding Paradise" and even in "Impostory Factory" as the very last scene of "Impostor Factory" confirms it (it is even more clear when you read the comic released together with "Impostor Factory" on Steam named "The Bestest Dancers", this comic shows exactly what is after the ending scene of "Impostor Factory"). But we still don't know the REAL reality (the very base layer). I feel that the final journey (when Neil and Eva would be their own patients/doctors) would be the total emotional annihilation of our hearts.

Hi! It seems there was no notification about your comment, so I'm only replying now. I have been thinking about making an analysis video about the actual plot of "Impostor Factory", explaining the story and a few things that players may have missed. I'm just so lazy about finishing the text ... As for the part of "Bestest Dancers" that was on the Freebird website for free, it gave me the strong impression that Neil is dead. Now I can't find the comic there anymore, but IIRC there was some moment where Eva got a shocking message about Neil. That came across as though she had been told that he had died. I mean, why do you call someone in the middle of the night? Not to tell them something mundane. And then other parts of the comic seemed as though they weren't actually real, but happening in the memory machine, with Eva going in there to make up for what she hadn't said or done in real life. But it's all a bit blurry now, a year later :)
Damn this is a good theory video there is so much talk about in the trilogy in terms of the overarching mystery. Either way I'm pretty sure this is gonna end with neils death and everyone is gonna absolutely cry cannot wait for the next TTM game that will come out I know its gonna be a masterpiece. As for why he was mad at his father I think it might have something to do with the fact that his parents decided to save him instead of the mother which was the whole point of the simulation to see what would've happened if that was not the case and instead administered treatment to the mother.

Just like his mother, in the simulation, always wondered about what would have happened if she had taken a different decision, so did Neil. And the answer is ... she would have regretted it for the rest of her life. And it looks like the Beach Episode will finally bring the story to an actual ending (more or less), so we'll at last know the answer to all those open questions.
@@sonoradw1662 Yup I love how the third game expanded Neil's story so well however I will disagree on one thing I do not actually think the TTM saga will end on the beach episode it seems a bit odd rather I think this beach episode will be kind of like a bigger bird story to finding paradise.
