Deadly pattern. It’s a go to when the small bait is in. Also a great searching fly. Thanks for the tips in the new resin. Sure looks easier than the devcon and a turner

A smaller version of this fly works amazingly well for sea-run cutthroats in the PNW

If anyone does decide to take the drying wheel route, using a disco ball motor mounted to a simple stand is a cheaper solution. You can also buy a piece of cylindrical foam, much like the one in the video, to attach flies to

I have some Alumilite clear UV for finishing lures after painting. I wonder after the heavy formula is put on to est. the body, a quick dunk and drip off before going in the light box would work?

Great tip on setting the flashabou. Tim do you use the SC for fresh water fish too? If so do you downsize it and change the materials? Thanks.

Small ones in white and pink, fished low work for porgies, green is better for seabass.

As a newb to saltwater fly fishing I'm anxious to tie up a bunch of these. First off great a great tutorial as always. Second I'm having trouble finding that hook. Any suggestions anyone? Thank you

Look up any sort of short gamakatusu saltwater fly tying hook and I'm sure you could find a substitute.
