honestly, twitch chat got to those theories a lot faster than i did, and it probably was because there were so many people trying to guess at once. maybe more heads isn't necessarily better, it's just faster.

This truely was one of the most horrific days in twitch chat history as you can see from the footage dougdoug left his stream terrified confused and generally left with a sense of ptsd with chatters sending in tts saying "i wish i got banned" "ban me please" this video is not for the faint of heart o7 on twitch chat and may you never face tragedy like this again

I was not expecting this to be sarcasm, I didn’t want to jump to spoil it and I’m glad I didn’t. 😂
2:14:18 sure, but there was a competing hypothesis that the recent tests couldn't disprove, which was that special symbol (punctuation) parity determined legality- every legal message has an odd number of punctuation marks (here counting ?, ., ', and #, 1 or 7) and every illegal message had an even number (0 or 2). The "#make sure your password contains special characters" test and "Bungalow boys in the house?" test were both well after this hypothesis and the correct vowel hypotheses were both widespread and could be tested for/against. No test distinguished them!!
The number of times doug would say that chat had enough information to figure out a rule, only for someone to make a guess that totally fits all the test messages and then be told they were wrong. It makes me wonder if Doug has ever had logic explained to him. 😂😂

Instead of changing the colour scheme you should add in a symbol like a + (✔️ ) or - (X) to denote legal vs illegal. That way you don’t accidentally effect other colour blind folks when changing the colours and you get to keep colours consistent if you make this a series.
That's literally just not how colorblindness works. The contrast of red and green works perfectly well for colorblindness, because colorblindness doesn't make red and green look the same, it makes other colors look more or less like like red and green.
@@quartermoon138 with color blindness you don't see the difference in hue, only the value, so if the colors have the same brightness / saturation for the specific type of color blindness, they will be indistinguishable
I general, I think it would be harder to make out legal/illegal messages during the "fun time", making it less effective than a color scheme.

@@Personwtcats I have really bad deuteranopia and you're wrong. Distinguishing red and green from each other is always easy (they are contrasting colors for a reason). What deuteranopia actually does is make colors with red or green in them look more samey. E.g. I have a ton of trouble telling blue, black, and purples apart. The red in the purple isn't visible, so it looks much more like blue.

This is my first time watching this stream, I made a program for what I think it is, imma see if I was right using the program and all of the tests, so far I was right. Editing this when I finish.
edit 1: For the first one I happened to be correct after I made a moderate revision; I said that you needed to get the amount of letters including and not including spaces and see if the numbers were homogeneous in being odd or even. ex: even even or odd odd would pass. This worked because if the amount of words was even, there would be an odd amount of spaces, thus changing whether the amount of letters were odd or even. It worked accidentally and by pure luck.
Another example of a great idea ruined by the urge to troll and taking it too far
