- How to wear lipstick as blush.
As you know I love to use my lipsticks as blushers. I think it really brings a makeup look together.
So that it doesn’t go horribly wrong, you need to use a matte or sheer lipstick and stay away from metallics or shimmery formulas. Cream lipsticks are very easy to blend with the warmth of your fingers. Take colour from your lips and start patting it onto your cheeks, it’s totally buildable and you can be brave and apply straight from the bullet or doe foot for more intensity. Use this cheat if you don't want to take too much makeup out with you. Or at the end of the day, if you have a lipstick in your bag, freshen up your makeup by adding it as blush to your cheeks too. I love a multi use makeup product.
I look forward to reading your comments about this look and will try and reply to as many of you as I can.

Each product I use is heavily researched before deciding to make a film and I try and provide you with as much accurate information as possible. The views on Speed Beauty are my own and are based on having personally tried the products myself.
The products I use in these films are either bought by myself, are part of my professional kit or they’ve been sent to me by PR companies for review. I am not currently paid for producing the films you watch. Some of the films contain affiliate links in the description, but not all. If you are happy to click on these links to continue support Speed Beauty that would be very lovely, thank you.
You should always research whether the products I recommend are suited to you. Everyones skin is different and I offer no warranties and don’t claim to be a dermatologist. Some products are really expensive and an investment purchase so it’s always wise to test product on your skin to check for allergies or adverse reactions before you buy. Hello Caroline! Pink is a lovely color on you! Thank you for sharing!
Being age 59 and feeling "becoming oooolld" your videos does mean a lot to me !
Over the years I have looked always for a blush to my lipstick.....
.....but it is so easy: my lipstick IS my blush ❣💄❣
Now I am feeling fine with my colours.
Caroline your like a breath of fresh air! Relatable, funny, warm, beautiful and every look you do is stunning X
I mix liquid lipstick with weleda ! So dewy . Lovely blush x
Looks lovely on you. I use the Mad Factor pink cream blusher as a lipstick. Love multi tasking products x
I sit down and practice as I watch you. You’re a great teacher Caroline! I really appreciate you❤️
Love so much max factor products the lip 💋stick s got one already love it 😀😍 looking forward to the next video of speed beauty good luck with the race for tomorrow love corrinne friend ❤💙💕
Love this simple ,fresh, everyday look Caroline! I've recently discovered Trinny's BFF SPF 30 in shade light, and find it a wonderful product for a quick, easy everyday base! It adapts to your skin tone, adds luminosity and light ,sheer coverage. Anyone else discovered it?! X
Thank you, Caroline, such a fresh and lovely look! I just used lipstick as blush last night and thought of you! It was a Maybelline Gloss in Rose, a little emollient, but worked well for the short time I needed some extra color. I've been enjoying your beautiful Instagram posts, as well, XO.
Beautiful ❤️ It would be fab to see a video on blushers placement and shades ... I saw on TT that where you place it can change the look of face as in youthful , add volume, Sculpt.... Etc. I feel completely useless when it comes to blush and a bit scared as I have a little redness. I'd LOVE to be more confident - or can anyone signpost me to good videos on this subject. I'm planning on buying some blush but I'm really unsure what brands colour, texture. 💞
Wayne Goss uploaded a short video on different ways to apply blusher two months ago. He probably has uploaded many other🙂
Dear R- powder blush if you have oily skin, cream if you have dry skin. Pinks and mauvey colors are nice for Fall. Havefun xog
Lovely to see you. I have recently found your channel and have been enjoying your videos. This is such a beautiful look. You have a wonderful personality, feels like a friend sharing their knowledge. 😊👍
Love the eye shadow colour as I have greasy eye lids too. So nice watching a professional at work.
I love this! You are just so fun and a pleasure to watch. We need more people like you in the world with a kind, funny, friendly demeanor. Glad your enjoying back at work xx
I love doing this…and it saves money too! 😀xx
Thank you so much for being you, to me it's not just cute but it also helps me feel little bit better about my own clumsiness (and even at my middle age 53 I still suck at make up, big time 😁)
Love you, your channel, knowledge, personality and all your gorgeous looks, wish you all the best and sending you lots of love from Croatia 💕
Good
How are you doing today?
Caroline, I highly recommend nano brows - it’s not microblading, that’s passé, the new method is similar to tattooing and lasts a couple of years. It’s very natural looking. I recently had it done - Nano Brow consists of a specialized technique using micropigmentation to give your eyebrows a 3D illusion of a natural-looking appearance.
J'adore ! Merci beaucoup !!!
Loved this video. I look forward to the brushes class.
A lovely look with so few products! I really like the look of the Laura Mercier tinted moisturiser. It blended out lovely. I'm always on the hunt to try out a new one! ❤
❤️This look just makes me happy. So fresh and pretty. Going out today to find some bright pink! ❤️
Lovely fresh look Caroline really look forward to your Saturday videos, made me laugh when you answered the door with the spots of pink on your cheeks, reminds me of answering the door to the postman a few weeks sago with a towel wrapped round my head and no makeup on and he just looked at me and said ‘you will look nice’, cheeky devil!🥰💜
Hi how are you doing?
You are wonderful ! Brilliant on makeup and a natural on the comedy too.
Im going to go back and use lip products for blush as well...I used to do that decades ago when I first started to wear makeup.
Hi Tracey how are you doing?
You never have to rush!!! Honestly I really like your longer films a lot too!! Don’t stress so much and just keep being you.. we love you just the way you are!!!! Thank You for all instruction, tips & tricks over the years!!! 👍💙
You hear so many conflicting information on blush placement. Not on the apples, older women, just slightly on the side, bring a bit across the nose and over the eye blending. I am older, but have always had prominent cheek bones and for an every day look, like that flushed look across cheeks, & nose like you look after you've walked in a chilly breeze. Is there an age that dictates placement? Or is it face shape? Or does it matter as long as you don't place it to low?
I always love that you're not afraid to really show off the cheeks with color. This trend of bronzing and no color blush, I just hope fades quickly. Opinion?
Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one confused, and I don't even use bronzer, just blush... 😂
But, with ageing (53) I tend to like "I don't care" trend the most, so my opinion would be it doesn't matter as long as YOU are satisfied with the reflection in the mirror. 😉
@@tanjadomacinovic3078 Couldn't agree more. If you are happy with your reflection that's all that matters.
Hi how are you doing?
What a lovely combination of pinks, slightly berry-like and champaign-peach. Not sure all pinks go together, these certainly do.
Mz Caroline thank you!! The specific directions I shall take and implement immediately!
- directly under the pupils
- not into the under eye area
- blend out w a brush
Hi how are you doing?
Fresh and pretty..lovely! 😊
Hi how are you doing?
Hi Caroline, absolutely love that look especially the eyeshadow
So pretty and flattering
Penny xx
Hi Caroline I like pink cheeks/lips tbh even with having rosacea. I'm super pale and very naturally cool toned (pinky white skin) and peach or caramel doesn't really suit me. Pinks and mauves do. I try to wear enough base to disguise the visible capillaries etc and just rock that pink blush anyway. I do keep it more on the perimeter of the face though, as at 49 my apples of the cheek are moveable with facial expressions lol.
I do like a cream/liquid shadow for a quick look, especially during the day. Best wishes.
Another top class video, hugely helpful and so funny too. You look gorgeous!
Greetings again from New Jersey ! Another pretty look. I currently use the LM hydrating tinted moisturizer on my dry almost 62 year old skin (on Friday the 15th). I love the radiance it gives and with the cooler weather coming and the heat coming on soon, I can use all the hydration possible. I love the way the oil-free formula works on your skin and it may be something for me to switch to during the summer months when my skin is not as dry. Again, I appreciate your beauty tips.
Hi Jane how are you doing?
Dear Caroline, Im with Tanja from Croatia and all the girls and boys that love you. You give me great ideas and make me laugh. Love from NYC xoxog
Enjoyed the video! I always have a difficult time applying cream/liquid blush... Also, hope you don't mind if I ask where you purchased your t shirt... its so cute!
You show that lovely looks are not seasonal. You look as fresh as springtime, yet perfect for a crisp fall day.
I so regret that Max Factor is no longer available in the USA.
Hi how are you you doing?
You are just too adorable 😍 to watch. So real. Thanks for the lipstick blush tip. Who am I, where am I....haha
So pretty Caroline,as always.🌺☕
Hi Lisa how are you doing?
Love it 😍
I always applied foundation with my fingers, but in the last few years I use a beauty spong,do u not find using your fingers, drags the skin to much especially as we get older .
What's the brush you used to smooth out blusher from your pores and also the brush you used after you applied the tinted moisturiser, please
Hi Catherine how are you doing?
You are so funny, not quite Bidenitis….lovely look..x
🥰💖🙏
