Karelian and finnish use to be same language. They have been separated becouse of the political situations. Karelia stayed in the Russian side and thats why the russian language has affected heavily to karelian dialect. Finnish language has stayed more autentic.

those little kids in the photo.. at 1:36 such poverty.. bless them.. can see they didn't get much to eat and very little for comfort and clothing etc in life.. it bugs me so much when we get accused of "white privilege" by people who do not understand that life was a very harsh struggle of living close to starvation levels of food intake, hard hard work every day of every week just to get enough to eat somehow if we could, and getting through very very cold winters in very cold places (i used to wake with ice on my sheets every morning in winter as we could not afford heating and the fire we burned wood on was in the main room we lived in) and wearing our "best" rags, for generations, for many white peoples ancestors and in feaudal bondage to "lords" of the land we could not leave the land of.. stuff like that means our ancestors earned any privilege we do have, through hard work and even civil wars and rebellion against harsh "masters"

Хроматическая кантеле - это вещь! И струны по-ближе друг к другу, нежели делают на наших гуслях. Только вот при игре сразу куча струн резонирует. Не очень это. Несколько грязновато звучит.
