      There are plenty of manor houses (Vihula, Sagadi, Kernu) around Tallinn to escape. You can always hop on a train and go to Tartu (the second-largest city in Estonia. Lahemaa National Park tours are popular, even in winter. And then there's Helsinki. You can take a ferry and be in Finland in two hours.

    Does anyone know why the Tallinn Christmas Market dates were moved? We booked our trip for after Christmas thinking the Christmas market would last until January 7th 😥

    • @VisitTallinn
      @VisitTallinn  3 месяца назад

      The timing of the market depends on the organiser and from time to time these changes happen. Hopefully, you'll find plenty of things to do in Tallinn at the beginning of January. Plenty of festive trees to check out as well.

    Hi !
    I’m interested in visiting Tallinn from 21th till 26th of December.
    My concern though is, if there’ll be open cafes and restaurants on these days, since it will be Sunday and Christmas Eve.
    Thank you!!

    • @VisitTallinn
      @VisitTallinn  Год назад

      Up until the 23rd (included), most places will be open as usual. on the 24th, 25th and 26th some places may be closed or open for a shorter period. Then again pubs and cafes along with hotel restaurants will stay open. Christmas market is open and the gingerbread mania exhibition as well along with other museums. There will be more information about the opening times on visittallinn.ee page soon.
