The second is actually sad, the guy who said he'd r*pe and kill the wife was actually a really smart guy! But he got in to drugs and had uncheck mental issues that lead him to this, if I remember right when arrested he said weird stuff.
Was going to comment about this if I didn't see it in the comments so glad I checked. I also believe (it's been a bit since I've checked but) I think one of the big turning points too was his business or job went under so that severely effected him as well (I could be wrong but I can't find the info now was on a youtube video)
Yeah moments like these are examples of why that you need to 1) Lock your doors, windows, and cars. 2)Have pets like dogs to protect you and your family. 3) Have an license to carry firearms to defend yourself.
We had someone pounding on our door in the middle of the night. I was awake when it happened watching RUclips on my phone in the dark. Ironically, a video from this channel at the time. It was a man yelling for help. We didn't answer the door, but arm ourselves in the dark and call our neighbor, who we exchanged numbers with for emergencies. The minute he flipped his porch light on, the guy calmly stopped and wordlessly headed down the road to his house. We watched from the dark. A bit later the police show up. And our neighbor, who ended up speaking with them, let us know that the man was apparently drunk and claimed he had someone pull a gun on him a few streets over and was trying to get help because of it. Never any sign of a person with a gun coming after the guy. It's believed he was drunk in our area (which is VERY far away from any bars. Nearest place selling alcohol is over an hour walk away) and was wandering around in the middle of the night, past midnight, going up to people's doors and knocking. And that someone pulled a gun on him for doing so, because the area naturally wasn't safe despite being a bit out there with farms and stuff. And so he was running around yelling claiming he needed help after he trespassed on someone's property drunkenly in the middle of the night. That was 3-4 months ago. I've moved since then. Awful neighborhood. I was neighbors with two criminals. Full on felons that managed to escape getting properly punished every single time they broke the law. One even committed a crime against me, totally unpunished. I used to have sleeping problems. 4am and unable to sleep. Now, after moving, I don't have that problem anymore.
