Happy New Year Cole, Charisma and Sophie! ❤️ I live in Arizona, and we too have citrus trees. People squeeze the juice and freeze in ice trays. Just an idea to get the most out of your oranges. 😁 My mouth was watering!! Mmmm
Sophie was so good for her bath! You prob already know but you can freeze oranges in a freezer bag for up to 6 mo. Not sure how good they'd be but I really like the idea of putting them in an ice cube tray!
Our 180 lb. German shepherd would not get into the tub for his bath unless there was a towel in the bottom and I think that's because it helped him be more stable on his feet on that slick surface. We put the towel down in the tub and then slightly wet it so that it wouldn't slip so easy. As soon as he would see the towel, he would jump right in. Happy New Year!
This is a very good tip. Thank you. I'm glad I read your comment. I have a Caucasian Shepherd and a border collie. The Caucasian Shepherd is so big the tub is like a bucket.😅. The collie doesn't like it because she slips and what you said makes sense. Will ensure a towel is used. 🙏
@@ChiChi_Shaw if you just dampen the towel a very little bit, it won't slip in the tub near as much. I'm not sure how much this might have to do with it but we always put the clean towel on the floor and let the dog lay on it here and there through the house and kind of get used to recognizing that it was a safe place to be. We suspected that when the dog would see that towel in the tub, he didn't hesitate to just jump in. This dog was so funny. Even when it wasn't time to eat, he would go get in the tub and stand there and bark hoping that it would get him some food. He weighed about 200 lb and he was absolutely huge. He was a very large-boned German shepherd with the sweetist disposition. But, he had a great sense of who was good and who was bad and when he thought somebody was bad he was business.
@byrw9557 Oh, this is good to know, I'm lying down and smiling while reading this comment. I will do that. My Caucasian Shepherd is 1yr 8 months so she can learn and adjust, especially when she feels safe. She's so big she literally will walk in. Lol. Oh my goodness my dog paws for treats, she will paw and paw. 😀 Thank you so much. God bless. 🙏
I don't think you can freeze oranges but you can make orange juice and freeze it in ice cube trays. Then place them in a zip lock bags. When you want fresh oj, just thaw the cubes . Happy New Year to one of my favorite couples.
You can also freeze orange juice in ice cube trays and add it to water or juice drinks. It's better than plain water. My hubby is like Cole about eggs, he eats 2 eggs every morning from the skillet, but will not eat deviled eggs, or any other kind of eggs.
You should be able to pull easily! If the orange does not release with little effort they are not ready. I usually just twist at the stem. If it doesn't come away easily it's not ready.
I had orange trees...best to taste first for sweetness...you can squeeze the juice and freeze in ice cube trays...then save the cubes in baggies to use whenever you want juice😊
Keep orange peels for natural dish washing liquid. Add baking soda with orange peels and water in the fridge for a couple of days. Or orange peel tea is very soothing
Keep the orange peels, let them dry out then add them to boiling water. The smell through out your house will be amazing! You start to lose the vit C as soon as you juice them so you are wise to pick them as your need them.
You can juice them and put in ice cube trays and freeze (then transfer to freezer bags)for later use so you don’t have to worry that they will go to waste. That’s what my family does with their orange tree in AZ. Yum😋😋
Lol, with the Oranges, donate them to some of the homeless shelters in area. When I lived in North Hollywood years ago, we had fruit trees an fused a long picker like you have.. Ah memories😍. See if you can juice them, the freeze it in cans or something freezable. Just defrost and drink👍 Welcome to Cali, where hail & rain are random, lol are your chair cushions SOAKED? SOPHIE you did great with your bath. Good girl👌
Thoroughly enjoyed this video. You can freeze orange juice, and I think it's good for up to a year. You can also candy the peels, and even cook in the peels that you hollowed out. Oh...and orange marmalade!
Oh, I wish I was there to help you pick the oranges. I would gladly pay you for some as oranges are my favorite fruit. This past year, grocery stores had the worst looking oranges ever. I did not buy one orange this past year.
Juice them and either freeze in ice cube trays and then put into freezer Ziploc bags or put into quart size Ziploc bags and freeze. We did that with all our grapefruit.
Juice a pineapple into the orange juice and it'll be way more yummy. Takes the edge off it. You can freeze them into popsicles too, you can can them, you can make frozen OJ concentrate, make jam or marmalade, to can, you can make cleaning supplies, freeze them to make zest for drinks and foods, body scrub, so many things.
They’re good frozen. There’s these little gadgets that you can stab into them that mean you can squeeze the juice directly in your mouth without having to cut it in half. You can freeze the juice in ice cube trays too - great for alcohol beverages. Another thing that is tasty is is slicing them and place them in a fry pan and place fish on top of the slices. Better with lemon but works well for orange too
Sophie is so beautiful. She gets in the tub when asked. I could hear her say..."Awwww Mom, today, now...ok." How much would it be to hire pickers to come and pick your oranges? Hope your new year's is foing great!
This was the first time I saw an automatic citrus juicer! I can't wait to get one now so I can juice my lemons & oranges to make my electrolyte drink every day!
You can make like orange chicken. I love oranges I ate a ton when I was pregnant with my daughter and she can't stand to eat them. If she does drink it it has to be pulp free.
Happy new year to you all. A great couple and loved the video. Can you make marmalade or jam from your oranges? Only a suggestion. Bet that juicd was great and refreshing.🙋👍🏡🐕👩❤️💋👨🍊🍊🍊
I just Loved when Charisma and Sophie were on the Sofa looking at the Rain fall AWWWW🥰
@monekcarter5354 ME TOO THE FIRST I SAW IT WAS ON AN INSTAGRAM REEL
It's the simple things in life ! ❤😌
It feels so good knowing I'm not the only dork who responds to hail with "What the hail?". 😂
I love the sunlight filtering through the tree as it rains, picturesque
Y'all are crazy for running out in the rain lol love you guys and here's to an awesome 2024!!
If you have a food shelter where you are you could give some of the oranges to them to distribute
Excited to see you're almost at 1M subscribers. 🎉
I love how charisma. Involves Cole in everyday activities! Picking oranges, bathing the dog ! ❤
Happy New Year Cole, Charisma & Sophie✨ My family sends blessings & love for an amazing 2024. It will be the best year ever💛

Sophie is an absolute darling and great that you have an orange tree! You can also use a "bath-mat" for Sophie to prevent slippage.🌻
Happy New Year to you both!! Sophie is so good🥰! Love all the oranges you get to enjoy!
Sofie learns fast. Cool to have a fruit tree right in your back yard. California Oranges! Glad they're juicy and Sweet. 🍊🌞

I like the halo effect behind the wet tree
You found yourself an amazing woman! God bless you both
Happy new year 🎉❤
Happy new year family❤❤
I am exactly like Cole. I love eating oranges, but I really don't like orange juice 😂
Make the orange juice, then freeze the juice and ice trays. It will last for a long time.
In the carribean, you peel the orange peel and hang itntomdry to use it for tea- its great for digestion, and its caffiene free
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Sophie's eyebrows ar a whole mood.
Great idea about donating to the shelter and Senior Citizens places and make some Mimosas with fresh OJ
