She's gorgeous! How she sang this song and the band's sound is more casual in 2023, in JingleBell 2015 and SummerTime 2016 (around that time) she touched her high voice on live show instead of the backing covered her voice! But no matter what, i'm still love you Jess♥

You “take”? Were you one of the backup singers? You mean “I GIVE big credit to the singers” not take credit for them.
But I must agree. She dodged a lot of words and lowered the key a bit from the original, which isn’t an issue, but she omitted saying certain words. Leaving them to the background singers.
@@erikm8372She took a long break from singing because of issues, she is not singing the top notes- she's also having issues with her "in ears" .

Dang it. two whole step down from the original key. But still, extraordinary performance. 🎉🎉🎉
It’s common for performers to take a second, skip a word, catch their breath; maybe dodge a note or two. But I want to just… not critique, but observe the omitted words in this performance, as I think some of them are key words within the song, and she just left them to the backup singers! Was she really that out of breath? For example:
[starting @ first chorus:]
_“Darling, hold my hand (Come on!)_
_Oh, won't you hold my (___)? (Hey!)_
_'Cause I don't wanna (___ __ __ ___) any- (___)_
_Won't you (____) -stand? 'Cause I don't wanna (__ ____)_
_I'm ready for this, there's no de-_ (____)
_I'm ready for this,_ (_ __ _ ___)
Annoyed with this as well. Just so "conveniently" happens the skipped words are the higher notes. It's obvious she can still hit them, but she chose not to. I understand that she's performing a whole set and trying to preserve her vocals, but if so...sing this song last then!
@@jayden90 you do realize the back up singers have a part to play also the cowards gets to sing too also it’s part of the song if you listen to lyrics of the song from the recording the brakes are in the recording she said she couldn’t hear any thing so lay off Jayden and Erick

Yes! It's a shame I didn't get the customer service job, remote from home when the locals were intruding in my house, stealing my laptop and hacking my phone at the Russian pubs, and by the Russian General Sergi the Maitre D at the hotel on holiday! All the best, Steve in Leeds and child 👍 I only went away to get away from the war issues with locals in my town and thought it might be better to work from home and go on holiday for an interview. It all went a bit, Pete Tong.

First time I’ve watched her live, I just watched “Rather Be” as well, she’s really not a performer, honestly so boring to watch, as well as she obviously can’t hit those notes high - which isn’t even that high, very limited singer
She can literally lose her voice if she continues to hit those high notes. She had a couple of surgeries already. You should watch her live performances during her prime. She has the most unique yet beautiful voice in the music industry. Always spreading love through her songs. ❤

@@laladiksI really like her music and would love to see her live, but this performance ain’t it, if she’s had two vocal chord surgeries already, unfortunately, she will probably have another, there is a video on RUclips of the doctor that does these surgeries and he says as long as singers don’t learn or change their technique, they will keep damaging their chords until they completely lose their voice
Apparently she had vocal surgery a few years ago, so that might be why she couldn't sing the high notes
