He had to fight to keep his bestie safe from the ab*se she endured, but even then, they both had no power and was forced to be a bystander, then died in a fire only to become the god of fire. He’s also very cheerful, so he’s the epitome of “people who smile the brightest hide a lot of sorrow” he was also 17 when he died so yk.
This song also represents more than that, fighting to keep your loved ones safe, overcoming struggles in relationships etc.

I heard this song before. It was nice back then and thought it was just cool. But just recently i was shopping with my bf. Me and him see each other in person rarely. I heard this song go on. Everything changed after hearing it the second time. Now i actually feel love I've been longing years for. And i will do whatever it takes to protect it.
Sometimes we need to put everything aside for the ones we love. I have spent 3 years watching the ones i love and making sure they are safe for the ones who want to do harm. The point is we all are different but we will fight for what we love.
