How did you feel about NFS Most wanted 2012?
I personally enjoyed it. It’s my childhood favourite 🤩
I liked it. I don't understand the hate tourds this game.
I enjoyed it, i love it and i cherish it, its actually how i met NFS (When i was 6 yrs old, in 2014), i don't care what people say.
yeah i think its okay for what it is its not the best but no where near as bad as people say it is
I loved it growing thought and it was better than almost every one that came after
Im 20....ive grew up with playing the og most wanted but its been 6 yrs that ive been playing nfs 2012.... I LOVE IT.... ive completed the whole game 14 times... and i still play it because it feels just so great
i also love that game
"i dont care, i love it"
"I GOT THIS FEELING ON THE SUMMER DAY THAT YOU WERE BORN!"
@@Theferrariguy I CRASH MY CAR INTO A BRIDGE
You can still like something and admit is bad.
What's surprising about it tho is that Icona Pop knows about this, they actually responded to a fan's comment on Tiktok about how this song became their biggest hit song to date, they even mentioned that Most Wanted 2012 had it's part to promote their song, and they even thanked EA and Criterion for promoting the song, and many of their fans bought the game. Some like the game and some despised it.
I DONT CARE I LOVE IT I DONT CARE I LOVE IT
This game made me understand that I'm more of a Burnout guy than an NFS guy
If this game didn't come out under the name Most Wanted, people would definitely like it more if it came out under a different name. the graphics and world of the game were really fun and frankly I loved the idea of exploring the cars in the world and trying them all out. but handling was ridiculous in this game. It is very difficult to endure 3 minutes without crashing while using Veyron and crash scenes are annoying. I had a good time playing tho
I don't think it would have been more liked.
It would have been the same or at least, less hated.
@@zacariascisneros6399i think you hated the game before you even played it, if people liked burnout, then i don't see why they won't like this game, it feels similar to paradise. If it was a new series replacing burnout or something, it'll be a pretty good start.
@@VollstandigErleuchtung You are completely wrong about the first thing.
I actually really liked Most Wanted 2012 (even a little bit more than the OG one)
However, I kinda know how the NFS community is.
No matter how the game is or it's called, if it's not an strictly sequel to Underground 2 or Most Wanted 2005, then the game is crap for them
@@zacariascisneros6399 in context of the main comment, which says if its not called most wanted and maybe some other Nfs game then you are definitely right. I just replied impulsively, barely read the main context, and yeah the nfs community basically has that standard, ug2, and mw. I will say Mw2012 probably got one of the hardest smashes by the community, hotpursuit was well received i think, but that's probably cause it's a remaster. Anyways sorry for that first comment ✌️
100%
In the pop world, fans of Icona Pop we're literally surprised to see that I Love It was featured in the game, and literally, people bought it just to listen to their idols. I had questioned them on Tiktok, they said that they bought the game just for them. Icona Pop responded to that, considering that they're not gamers, they're really grateful that I Love It is their biggest hit song to date, they also thanked EA and Criterion for adding it into the game.
This also goes the same to Charli XCX.
Its a very polished game, but with or without the nfs name its still quite barebones
If there’s one trope I really hate with the Need for Speed series, it’s reusing the exact same title as older games. If a new game is gonna be reusing a title of an older game, it needs to have literally everything that made the original game great, which this game does not. I feel similar thoughts towards Hot Pursuit 2010, in which I think it should’ve been called “Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 3” since it was the 3rd game to use the Hot Pursuit name.
This is facts, it's great for hype and marketing but awful when it goes wrong. Especially in this games case. However the younger generation of gamers are very fond of this game
@@Theferrariguy fun fact the reason it used the same name as the older title is because this game was s supposed to be a direct sequel to most wanted but the original gameplay and story was scrapped and the rest was altered during development since the devs were rushed to release the game
@AlexanderLindo-je5oz yes that was mentioned in this video briefly, pity it fell through
Bad? I've been having tons of fun with it after buying it a week ago, during the autumn Steam sales.
i wanna buy it rn its on sale, do you still find online games?
When burnout get real cars license💀
NFS has been so directionless I wouldn't be surprised if the next one is a Mario style cart racer.
Honestly when it comes to multiplayer this was toward the top of the list
@@devynlich00 I agree. Very few racers get multilayer right
Love the subtle burnout reference😂
I swear if the game wasnt titled Most Wanted people wouldnt hate on it as bad. This game is not as bad as people say it is. To me its super fun, and the graphics look close to early Xbox One/PS4 graphics practically. I own both this, and Most Wanted 2005, and I like them both. But 2012 is not a bad game to me. I really enjoy it. Tbh, in my opinion, the best NFS games from the 2000s era for me are Underground 2, and Carbon. Just my opinion.
Just bought this game for like 2,48 USD and its fun af
You know the game is bad when even your AI opponents are constantly crashing their cars.
It may have been bad but the thing is that I associate it with hella nostalgia that’s y I love it but however it would get lonely on single player and also this is the real most wanted in my eyes simply because I am younger than most nfs fans born in 07 so this is what I’ve grown with
Yeah multiplayer slapped in this game but Please give mw05 a try if you haven't already
For me this was the best NFS that they made. It was my First NFS game and I enjoyed it so much. Especially the cops were just perfect here, not like in 2015 or Payback where they werent even in freeroam...
This is the first nfs game or burnout game I’ve got. I barely know anything about the franchise, but I love this game. It is simple but I still find it fun, as there is a lot of variety. I also prefer the physics as they are not neat and smooth like the other games but they are gritty and they get you pulling your controller in different places. Each car feels individual and powerful, that this is a whole tonne of metal that we’re talking about. And the police, they are a pain to outrun sometimes, but they’re good. Anyways tho, this game would be the best ever if it had customisation and the ability to make your own race, as you can only do ye set races.
Burnout paradise but with actual cars. I remember playing this back then on my 360 and loved it. Recently started playing it again on pc and still enjoy it. The graphics held up really well. I did wish it had more of a story but gameplay wise its fun.
Oh, I get it. So it was really bad because of its name. You're an amazing critique.
My best NFS on PS3.
This game is awesome to me. I got it on both my PS3 and my Xbox 360. Still play it to this day on both systems
@@autolife2785 Also my best too, I rank it 3rd vs Heat and Rivals.

Both versions of Most Wanted earned my top spot! Initially, I didn't like the lack of story and even bought The Run to compensate for it. However, it eventually grew on me. Similarly, the original Need for Speed: Most Wanted also disappointed me at first, but it too has since become one of my favorites.
Rankings
1st Need for Speed Most Wanted '05 & '12
2nd Need for Speed Underground
3rd Need for Speed Underground 2
NFS Characters are so Annoying Now or Cartoon Now won't Let you Play Continue on you want 20 minute cut-scene Character you just gonna forget just wanna drive Amazing Cars
Ikr who needs a story line when I got the game to drive past the speed limit
Should have been called nfs burnout and people would love the game
Perhaps 🤨 even if it was called NFS Fairhaven I think people would be preferred it more. Goes to show the importance in a namesake
@@Theferrariguy Yeah they probably didn't think about changing the name at all and thought people would get over it
They wanted to name it nfs hawaii and i dont know why they forget to delete cut content because most of them are in the game files
@@Theferrariguywhich is ironic because the only reason they would have used the ‘most wanted’ name would be because they thought it would help sell the game
@JDotLoc yes that's the reason and they also made the game fill a shadow it simply couls never fill
I hope you’re right about Criterion remaking this game and doing it properly this time, even though I never played MW 05
i'm someone who came from tha days of High Stakes and any NFS game before Underground so when they came out with Underground, i hated it when it 1st hand but had a bit more appreciation for Underground 2 now more than ever, then Most Wanted 2005 came out and i was like i was just glad to have tha fuzz again, same with Carbon, Most Wanted 2012's final build for me felt it if it came out after havin' just only Porsches in a NFS game (YES I'M LOOKIN' AT U NFS Porsche Unleased), then it woulda been an groundbreaking game because in 2001, there was still no Freeroam in a NFS game or Nitrous either, but i also wished they woulda stuck to tha beta and finished it instead of scrappin' it entirely, but to see it get ripped so badly is laughable to people like me who grew up on if u hit a road sign once in a NFS game, u lose a headlight, thanks High Stakes lol but still it woulda been nice if EA let Criterion stayed with its original plan for Most Wanted 2012 instead of its final version which it felt like it shoulda came out in 2001 instead of 2012 and at its final build, i wished they woulda called it "Fairhaven Unleashed" to pun NFS Porsche Unleased lol
Personally i grew up playing this game and the soundtrack and gameplay shaped me to who i am ngl
170hours 92% complete and i still love playing it, i hate it in certain ways but ig that's what makes it more fun for me, when you get good at it, it's kinda like darksouls in a way, burnout paradise feels very similar to it which is another game which i hate yet love very much. Mw2005 i love that game, but i always find myself booting up 2012 instead, f the rhinos though let alone swat, oh and needle point.
05s cops was fine, in terms of difficulty, but the physics in that game was easy to cope with and speedbrake made it easier, the coos in 12 felt op especially in the top wanted levels, i feel like a sitting duck when i see those swat trucks, in 05 the rhinos make you fear them, but in 12 almost everything feels like a rhino from 05, and that's while driving the fastest cars let alone a the slower cars. In terms of which is overall better, I'll go with 05, mostly cause the physics just make it easier to have fun with the cops.
Couldn't agree more on what you said about the storyline, it feels half baked, there could've been so much more done with this game, and the mw cars cut scenes are cool but it's so without context it just makes me laugh these days.
It's kind of crazy how I was telling one of my friends today that NFS MW 2012 is like the Dark Souls of the racing games. The grind to build your catr and then change to just get another car and try all over again... Been a fan of NFS for years and when this came out, tbh i did not like it but i'm going back through that games and it actually wasn't that bad though. It's quite good but definitely could have been better.
Like you said It's a good racing game but a weak NFS title. I've had my fun with it but I'd rather play NFS Rivals (2013) over this, Rivals looks much better, actually has somewhat of a storyline even if its sort of barebones and it actually can be considered a solid NFS title since it's basically like a sequel to Hot Pursuit and continuing the classic NFS era Cops vs Racers theme.
Listen to me, This is the best NFS game ever
No
that game gave me my childhood for me its perfect af
Even though people might hate this but still it was one my favorite game i have played in my childhood and still i love it
@dragoonxgamer it depends in the ages of fans I've noticed most people who only started gaming when 2012 was out loved it. But the slightly older people (me) thought the name was blasphemy and the original was better.
@@Theferrariguy Mostly the diehard NFS Fans hated it but this was a unique concept at that time not everyone could have understood it well
@@Theferrariguy If they release that game with a different identity than the NFS things could have been different even thought people might not like the game but they wouldn't have hated it this much
Burnout Fairhaven😂😂😂😂
What remake are you talking about at the end?
There is apparently a mw 05 remake on the way this year
@@Theferrariguy from EA?
@@nsawatchlistbait289 yes
@@nsawatchlistbait289 actors who played cross and officer Simone mentioned it but take it with a grain of salt

Is it bad that i actually want this game remastered? Probably won't come to PS4 nowadays and i can't afford PS5, but i actually wouldn't mind a remaster seeing as the 360 shop is closing.
I definitely see it happening
@@Theferrariguy Criterion is working with EA again on NFS games, so its possible
Yeah I imagine, they will; considering the praise it did receive from younger fans of the franchise @@mightyarbokking7197
It was like trying an oatmeal raisin cookie that's mislabeled as a chocolate chip cookie.
Do I need the dlc or is the base game ok? I didnt knuw 43 cars available
Never got the dlc but the base is ok
Even without the MW name, it's a terrible game. No story, LSD trip cutscenes, no sense of progession, no customization and a lavk of any immersion or atmosphere.
I wouldn't mind a burnout game if it at least respectably lived up to the "most wanted" title. It could have even put its own spin on the concept, but instead, it's little more than an empty label. The police persuits are not very meaningful and, worst of all, racing the "most wanted" has no specific requirement to be wanted by the police by a bounty system or something.
i dont even know why the game name matters
brake to drift is not the only reason people still play this game
Cant even see road clearly.. opponents are far better driving then us.
This rivals and 2015 man so underrated
My favorite track in this game is Empathy by bassnectar
Very nice one. I think my favorites were Bonkers by Dizzie Raskel, and Spell Bound by Silent Code
@@autolife2785 I see you.
@cristopheralexander1583 I actually think I still got some of these downloaded 😅 I know I got Empathy and Spell Bound. I think I also got Don't Get Fooled Again by The Who too
Well'be coming back, the goat Calvin harris
@_------------_ that used to be my jam also. I remember listening to it while trying to break billboards with a bugatti.
Bro you can progress each car with upgrades, and you gotta win races for certain mods for each car and some of those races are very hard. It might lack the generic characters and story line, but the beauty is that you, the driver/player, are the main character and your storyline is made by you
No storyline at all basically doing the same races just in different cars glad I only paid 1.99
This is the best need for speed game.😪
ah shtop
LMAO i don't see nothint fun in mw 05 lol what is the "best" cop and story that's all your mw 05 has, it doesn't have any fun, it's just boring and graphics for the poor🤣
That game was almost perfect, it had a decent story, good characters, pogression, customization, best cops, boss fights, game modes, music. It's the fans favorite.
It lacks graphics because it's old duh
i dont see fun in starting with a lambo and no customization + no story and no good progression system
@@hustllezfrr You are free to pick any car you want you just need to find them and beat bosses to get more, but they have different races for each one so it's not a advantage.
It's a car game they don't need story but it would be welcome.
You can upgrade the cars, and to change color you need to go to the stations it also repairs your car, very useful to deal with spikes.
There are multiple things you can collect across the map, and a black list you can only get their cars when you beat them and then you have to catch their cars.
The cop chase is great.
But it gets boring after the blacklist i must say, however for those you can play online you will have a decent time.
@@hustllezfrr MW05 is overrated asf. Its my opinion and cry about it.
Most wanted 05 on pc run laps over the 2012 version it’s not even close lol. So you are comparing a top two nfs game of all time vs the mid level.
Hay there I have this game for my Xbox 360 and I have all DLC in my game to it awesome fun for me this game is really really good sush a fun game this is 100% ❤🏁👍💪😀
