Literally crazy! I've seen plenty of animations were Dream Smp members are in close combat with swords and shields, but seeing them actually giving it more graphic (sword stabs, arrows through heads, blood, etc) makes this amazing and unique, even the camera angles are crazy!

He doesn't really hurt tubbo all that much from what I see, he has no real reason to as tubbo hasn't hurt him like Quackity, Tommy, and the others have
Techno's a blade locked in it's sheath, only to be drawn in the most desperate of times... even if its wielder knows that they'll lose either way. The warriors are those who fight on before dying in glory, but champions are those that show mercy when they know that they will be safe with them- along with those who don't hesitate to discipline traitors among their ranks.
My favorite part of this is that fact that even at the end, where he's yelling and shouting, Niki just is not afraid of Techno. Like she's looking this terrifying killer of a man dead in the eye and she does not care. Mildly disgruntled? Sure. Scared? No.
Techno in lore was well I'll just say a lot of things but he is never disloyal I'd argue he was the only one in the server that actually made sense, the thing that mattered most to him was loyalty the whole syndicate possibly the entire server knew that, even his hatred of government could be tied back to his value of loyalty governments often don't care about the little guys thus they are disloyal to the people that got them there to begin with. so it's safe to say A. Niki knew he wasn't going to hurt her and B. If techno *DID* want to hurt her she would have been dead where she stood
I love your rendition of the swords, making them Longswords and how the swordsmanship actually looks pretty realistic. My favorite shot honestly is 0:36 , I think it looks great. Amazing work.
First animatic, make Technoblade look more original. Constructive Criticism, you basically just ripped the face design off of Sadists and put on a different outfit/hair. You’re animating and drawing skills are amazing. Just take a step back on the violence I think, or I could easily seeing this getting restricted for violence for some scenes. Good work though!
This shows a very diffrent side of Techno. The one no one wants to see. The side that no longer cares if you live or die and has no problem putting you down. The fact that he completely out matches anyone in this is proof enough.

I'm not certain, but I think Techno has, at one point or another, pvp'd each player on the SMP and won. This of course includes the single most powerful member of the SMP: Dream himself. Literally the only reason why he hasn't flooded the SMP with everyone's blood, especially shortly after Tommy turned his back on him, is because he chooses not to.
That scene with Tubbo getting shot in the face point blank was hardcore, damn. Also was the using the sword to cut the arrows on the shield inspired from 300?
Its just a smart thing to do, arrows are very long and trying to maneuver a shield with full sized arrows hanging out the end it is bound to end poorly
the slashing the arrows thing was a common thing. if you didnt do it your shield was unneccarily heavy for no good reason. also if you try to bash someone with a shield full of arrows the arrows are only in the way. so you lose both defensive and offensive value of a shield. so yes it was in 300. but it isnt invented there. it was a very common thing to do.
I love how unashamedly gruesome this is at times. Techno is a brutal yet effective warrior, and you really showcased why his presence alone is one to be feared!
I really love how you made this animatic! It was really faced front. Showing Techno's 'Blood for the Blood God' ideology in a non-sugar-coated aspect. And the fluidity of the animatic was so wonderful. And Techno and Niki being somewhat more 'civil' gave me something. While Techno is a balance between Violence and Rationality, It shows he is willing to be civil with someone if they give him the chance and shows deep concern over him. Overall its a very well done animatic!

Thing is if he were Achilles, he would’ve been dead. The fact he has an arrow in his heel sorta has symbolism that he is stronger than Achilles, that he is unstoppable and has no weaknesses
I've said it once and I'll say it again. The DSMP needs an animated series, or at least a comic book style series. Not only to condense down all the streams to highlight the lore for new fans, but also because it would be super cool and I'm sure, just like Critical Role, there would be a TON of fans willing to back it to see it become a thing.
Love that shot where he has the arrow in his heel after stabbing sapnap at 0:08 because it's showing how he doesn't have an Achilles heel he is literally unstoppable.

I think techno does a lot more reflecting than people give him credit for, I just don't think he cares about deviating from his plans, his commitment to his ideals are strong than a nation and that's terrifying
If there's ever a Minecraft Movie/Anime that's willing to delve into fan culture, it should absolutely have Technoblade as the star following his Dream SMP journey. Narratively, it's a great story, and there's so much you could hype it up. It'd also pay great homage to his legacy.
Even if it isn't his Dream SMP journey, it could just follow him. He's one of those characters you can just take and plop anywhere, give them a relevant story, and watch.

The Weapon Design is actually very solid, the Swords look like classic Zweihänder, the Bows are pulled accurately as well, the deaths look good. This is all around so very solid and this solidity of the logic in the animation and combining that with your skill is just what makes this amazing. Very good work!

Did anyone else notice that at 0:08 when it shows Techno straight up gutting Sapnap, Techno has an arrow in his Achilles heel? I did and GODDAMN the symbolism there is absolutely immaculate. I mean, in the legends, Achilles was essentially an unkillable warrior, because he was bathed in the river Styx as a baby, everywhere except for his heel, which is why, when Achilles was struck there by a stray arrow, Achilles dropped dead. This means that Technoblade has NO weakness, and he cannot be killed. I mean, that much should be obvious. After all: TECHNOBLADE NEVER DIES!

DAMN. This is amazing, the fight scenes are so smooth, and the storytelling and the audio go so well together. I loved the detail where the only time he hesitated, or looked away while killing someone, was when he executed Tubbo, there's so much freaking symbolism in that one moment.
I watched the og scene(I haven’t seen breaking bad) and man, the way you edited the audio and the music in the background and everything is incredible. This is cinematic genius. This is so f-ing good that I got emotionally invested in the animation and conversation more than in most good tv shows. In that 1:52 seconds I got the feelings of proudness, bravery, happiness, sadness, grief, flashbacks of techno’s video about cancer, his journey as the strongest warrior, his amazing friendship with Phil, and his determination to reach his goals. Its just a smart thing to do, arrows are very long and trying to maneuver a shield with full sized arrows hanging out the end it is bound to end poorly
the slashing the arrows thing was a common thing. if you didnt do it your shield was unneccarily heavy for no good reason. also if you try to bash someone with a shield full of arrows the arrows are only in the way. so you lose both defensive and offensive value of a shield. so yes it was in 300. but it isnt invented there. it was a very common thing to do.

It was really faced front. Showing Techno's 'Blood for the Blood God' ideology in a non-sugar-coated aspect. And the fluidity of the animatic was so wonderful.
And Techno and Niki being somewhat more 'civil' gave me something. While Techno is a balance between Violence and Rationality, It shows he is willing to be civil with someone if they give him the chance and shows deep concern over him. Overall its a very well done animatic!
Honestly, this is almost exactly how I see Techno's character in my own headcanon when phil is not around to keep him stable. And I LOVE IT!

Not only to condense down all the streams to highlight the lore for new fans, but also because it would be super cool and I'm sure, just like Critical Role, there would be a TON of fans willing to back it to see it become a thing.

If there's ever a Minecraft Movie/Anime that's willing to delve into fan culture, it should absolutely have Technoblade as the star following his Dream SMP journey. Narratively, it's a great story, and there's so much you could hype it up. It'd also pay great homage to his legacy.
Even if it isn't his Dream SMP journey, it could just follow him. He's one of those characters you can just take and plop anywhere, give them a relevant story, and watch.

The straight brutal, gory violence is done so *well* omggg. I haven't seen many DSMP animatics lean more into the brutality of the actual lore, especially with c!Techno. Not the mention the transitions, how it's Niki talking to Techno, the art in general, everything is brilliant! Dude, stunning.
The Weapon Design is actually very solid, the Swords look like classic Zweihänder, the Bows are pulled accurately as well, the deaths look good. This is all around so very solid and this solidity of the logic in the animation and combining that with your skill is just what makes this amazing. Very good work!

Dude the character designs were amazing. The gore scenes were so detailed it was awesome. I loved how when he executed Tubbo you made his character look away as a shot which I could actually see happening considering he really didn’t want to do it. This whole thing was just a masterpiece 👌🏽❤️

Did anyone else notice that at 0:08 when it shows Techno straight up gutting Sapnap, Techno has an arrow in his Achilles heel? I did and GODDAMN the symbolism there is absolutely immaculate. I mean, in the legends, Achilles was essentially an unkillable warrior, because he was bathed in the river Styx as a baby, everywhere except for his heel, which is why, when Achilles was struck there by a stray arrow, Achilles dropped dead. This means that Technoblade has NO weakness, and he cannot be killed. I mean, that much should be obvious. After all:

This is so f-ing good that I got emotionally invested in the animation and conversation more than in most good tv shows. In that 1:52 seconds I got the feelings of proudness, bravery, happiness, sadness, grief, flashbacks of techno’s video about cancer, his journey as the strongest warrior, his amazing friendship with Phil, and his determination to reach his goals. This video just made my week thank you.
