Kid, you exemplify how young men should conduct themselves. That fearless "I will figure it out and overcome it" mentality is lacking these days. Seeing Bella floating proud in the opening scene brought a smile to my face! Congrats Gus, you deserve this. Keep up the amazing work. BTW I love watching technical type repair/maintenance videos. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. So please feel free to take us along whenever you are working on a project. You are quite the handyman.
You are the most exceptional hard working young man I have ever come across. I'm sure your parents are beyond proud of you. You are SO inspiring. Lots of love and blessings from Cape Town. ❤🇿🇦

The thing I love about Gus is his interactions with other people within the boating community in the US. I'm from the UK and the representation of Americans is not always positive, this channel shows me the real America Keep doing what you're doing and I wish you all the best
Dude! You really got me hooked on your vids, but I can't get over the fact of what you actually do. At your age, you are so knowledgeable. How do you do it. Where did you get all your experience? Blown away. Keep it up.
Pleasure watching a young man work so hard to accomplish an end, not that there is ever an end to owning a boat. Your parents must be very proud of you. Safe sailing captain. ,🇺🇸
I take my hat off to you. I've been there doing the same thing with a 65' Owen Contessa many years ago. I'm out here west coast in the California delta. I'm 81yrs and still enjoying working on boats. Now a 73' Tollycraft Sedan. You get my vote. Enjoy and I'll keep watching.
I am on my second Hatteras. The construction quality and high quality materials used were unsurpassed, at the time, in a production yacht. Always a pleasure to rehabilitate these lovely ladies.
Yo Gus, Nice Job on the Motor Yacht, I know Boats, My dad and I sailed for many years out of College Point Queens, we had a 40 Mathews Motor yacht and a 32 ft Revel Craft Fly bridge cruiser. My dad at one point own like 5 boats, he had a 28 ft Owens Cruiser, a 30 Luhrs Express Cruiser and trust me man, I worked my ass off with him on these Older boats. But we had the time of our lives on them, every night during the summer we would head out and just take a cruise up to Oyster bay or a cruise down the east river to see lower Manhattan. I love boating and I love watching you as you work and learn with these older boats, It brings back a lot of great memories I shared with my dad. Enjoy yourself brother, Live Life like its your last day. Keep up the videos , cant wait to see the maiden Voyage bro. God Bless >

Enjoy your way of documenting and presenting the repairs. To many channels spend tons of time talking about the individual products they use and why they chose them. You "get er done" and move on to the next task .... greatly appreciated my friend! Watching you splash I can only imagine when she was sparkly and all new hitting the water for the first time. 😊
amazing job keep amazing jobs done this is day 2 i watched at least 15 hours of video material and want to continue my enjoy of watcing your videos! Respect brotha all the way from EU Serbia !
I love your enthusiasm and motivation, you are a go getter. Doing the work yourself you can really understand your systems so much better, which is a very big plus.
I watched two of your videos last night, and was amazed at your skill, set, and how you persevered, and never let one problem change your vision. I applaud you, my friend, and I will continue to learn from your escapades, and your way of entertaining while showing your misery is notable.
Amazing transformation of the Hatteras 50 Motor Yacht! It's incredible to see the dedication and hard work that went into restoring this beautiful vessel. Your passion for boating truly shines through in this video, and it's inspiring to watch you bring this hurricane-damaged boat back to life. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, and I'm looking forward to more of your adventures on the water! 🚤🌊👏
Gus I can watch you every day on your adventures. It's so inspiring watching you conquer any obstacle thrown your way. Keep up the hard work, it's definitely paying off. Safe travels.
Gus, that was impressive. You got that boat back in the water in record time. Your fiberglass repair looks top notch. Have fun with your new boat. Looking forward to future videos.
I can't put into words the respect and awe I have for someone like you. I watched a bit of your trip from Miami to Maine before I tuned in here. So, at first I thought you were just some rich kid who bought himself a yacht with daddy's help. I must apologize for that misconception after watching the first quarter hour here. You are one exceptional, energetic, talented person, and I hope you get all the use and enjoyment out of your boat that I would want were it mine. I especially liked your story of how you found the boat, the problem you had financing it, and how through sheer fickle fate you found someone who could help you obtain the bank loan you needed. You are surely blessed. Liked and subscribed.
I am so impressed by your knowledge and hard work ethics. I know lots of young guys like you and they know nothing and play video games all day. Good for you! I hope you go far in life.
You are the MAN and here I am stuck in New Hampshire a week after we got 32 inches of white concrete from the sky.. of course our boat is still in deep freeze mode for another 2 months .. good to see you getting this beautiful Hatteras back in shape , you will know here stem to stern when you done. for sure no need to apologize for not getting it all on cam, would of took you three times as long to get it done if you're trying to film it all.
Bravo! Damn, you are a legend. You are proof that hard work and perseverance (a little luck too) will win in the end. Can't wait to see how it goes with the new Hatteras. Cheers
Gus, I am amazed at the knowledge you have gained about engines, electrical, and the inner workings of a boat such as this at such a young age (24 ?). I would be very interested to know your background as to where you got this knowledge, ie. vocational school, college, OJT... etc. In any case, you seem to be exceptional and as I have watched your videos from the beginning, I will continue to do so since you continue to entertain and amaze me.
Led strip lights around the cieling of the engine room works great! Good throughout the boat too! Your one resourceful young man! Congrats on your new boat!
I give you a lot of credit. You get in there and get it done even if you have not ever done it before. I like you went from small to big. 27 to 43 foot. I learned one thing from that. The Bigger the Boat the Bigger the Problems. Best of luck with your New one. Fair Winds and Calm Sea's.
Gus…you are incredibly talented, driven and way more knowledgeable then people 2-3 times your age. Very impressive. Good luck with your ongoing journeys
I used to own a boat repair company and I would like to applaud you for your efforts! I loved that you took the time to do things right and look to possible future problems. Great job!
