      Do you have plan to travel to Dalat in central Vietnam? It could feels similar to Ha Giang with cold weather and STUNNING colonial architecture (lots of French Villas and churches, since it was planned to be a resort city for the French), and it’s chill like Chiang Mai. People are super friendly as well. I’ve just been there for few days and I loved it

      Hi there! Dalat sounds wonderful, but we are just exploring the North this time! I've think of like to come back to Vietnam at a different time of year! I'll put Dalat on the list! Thank you for the recommendation 😊

    Beautiful adventure! Haha I brought home 8 large packages of all the different coffee packets and a large powder creamer when we visited Thailand. When I am missing the simplicity…it’s a nice treat👍 can’t wait to visit Vietnam! We know it needs to be a MC tour…gonna have to figure out the packing bit lol. Can’t believe the pigs 😂😂that really is so quintessential 👏👏

      Ohhhh, don't get me started on the coffee! Mr.Viet coffee is YUMMY! Have a great trip to Vietnam.... we'll be producing a full 8 day itinerary so watch out for that one! 😉 we'll never forget the pigs!..... and the kiddos! Thanks for watching ❤️

    200km is a long day! We just did the loop last week. Next time we’ll do it on our own. It was only me, my wife, and the guide, but it still felt confining

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  7 месяцев назад

      I agree with the 200kms.... it does make for a long day when the roads are windy and it's rainy! We loved going on our own and wouldn't do it any other way! I like the freedom of picking what we want to see and mapping our own route! 👍 Glad to hear you did the loop! 😊

    Hi! Are you currently in Vietnam? I'm interested in the weather in the north, that's why I'm asking.

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  8 месяцев назад +1

      Yes, we are currently in Hanoi. Northern Vietnam was cold when we were there at the beginning of November. Hanoi is cool temps, (low 70's during the day) smog is heavy right now and haven't seen much of the sun this past month.

      I am planning to visit northern Vietnam in March. I hope it will be a little warmer. 😊 I wish you a happy journey and many positive adventures. 💪

    Was it not better to rent the cb500X instead of the XR150? you will got much more power on the CB and the seat are much much better. btw be safe and have fun!

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  8 месяцев назад

      Hi Tran,
      Actually power is not an issue, the XR150 is surprisingly capable even 2up with a couple backpacks. The weight of the CB500 is also a big negative compared to the XR in many situations as well as the big rental price. $74 a day for a CB500 really adds up quick compared to $22 a day for the XR.
      Thanks for watching! 😊👍

      Also, we found the seat height and suspension on the XR quite comfortable throughout our whole trip. 😉

      @@wattstraveling yeah u are absolutely about the price. The XR is 3x cheaper and still can do the job. Cant wait for the next episode of Ha Giang👍🏼

    hey ! Nice vlog! May I ask how many police checkpoint did you go through along the Ha Giang loop? I know there is usually one at the exit of Ha Giang right?

    • @wattstraveling
      @wattstraveling  7 месяцев назад

      Hi there! YES!..... we got stopped just outside of Ha Giang. You'll need a International drivers permit, with motorbike designation. They didn't even want to look at our passport. But, we talked to others that got stopped twice. Paid 1.5M fine for no license! I'm doing a full itinerary coming out soon! 👍thanks for watching

    • @obiwon84
