Emotionally Healthy Woman Small Group Study by Geri Scazzero
Stop pretending everything is fine and change your life
According to Geri Scazzero, the journey to emotional health begins with quitting. When you quit those things that are damaging to your soul or the souls of others, you are freed up to choose other ways of being and relating that are rooted in love and lead to life.
In this eight-session video-based study, Geri teaches how biblical quitting is essential to embracing God's kingdom. The eight sessions will guide participants to a way out of inauthentic, superficial spirituality to genuine freedom in Christ. This study is for every woman who thinks, "I can't keep pretending everything is fine!" and who wants to discover the path to emotional health.
Grounded in Scripture, this workbook is filled with Bible study and personal applications that will help you discuss and learn to live out the teaching on the corresponding video. If you're ready to prayerfully make the kinds of courageous decisions needed to become emotionally healthy, this study is for you.
    Session Titles:
    1. Quit Being Afraid of What Others Think
    2. Quit Lying
    3. Quit Dying to the Wrong Things
    4. Quit Denying Anger, Sadness, and Fear
    5. Quit Blaming
    6. Quit Overfunctioning
    7. Quit Faulty Thinking
    8. Quit Living Someone Else's Life

I have been quitting being needy of my husband or others. I need The Lord. He supplies my needs not people. I quit chasing people to help me. It is freeing. : ) Now I strive to be a thankful helpful servant. I want my life to be able out giving not needing. Being needy of others is exhausting. Being a servant is more peaceful for me. The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want. It is better to GIVE than to receive. Let us be free!

2002 was the year that I had the same experience, letting go: nothing left to prove. Said yes to Father's voice to let go and fall into His net/LOVE. No more me, all of Him, directed by His Word/Voice. People around me did not like that I was free and would just want to see them free as well. People like co-dependance. Since then, there have been people that wanted that same freedom; following God, wholeheartedly, that have come thru. Praise God.

Gerri thank you for your ministry to both you and your husband. The body of Christ has Jesus and we're taught that's all we need but if the truth be told, when we come to him, we come full of baggage that has to be unpacked, placed in the right place and/or thrown away. It was God that allowed me to come across this video. This is exactly where I am and I'm glad about where I'm headed. May God continue to be with you both as you impact the Kingdom!!

Honestly at first I didn't think it was something I needed. But boy, was I wrong.
I guarantee you, it will change YOU and Your relationships with others for good.
I only wished I had learned this early in my marriage and while raising our girls

😟Geri, I wonder if truly, the problem was in you AND in your church (the way that the way it was being stewarded according to God’s design)? I’ve heard that many times from your husband, Pete ? 🧐
