First the Wright brothers invented humanity's first airplane and around 90 years later they composed a kickass soundtrack for an Amiga game. Those guys are very good!
Two things: Lighter than air vehicles aren't airPLANES so they're not really relevant. And the Wrights did take off without the aid of the catapult with both the Kittyhawk and Flyer II, but decided to use the weight-assisted catapult to ease the process and facilitate more stable takeoffs. Both of these planes predate Dumont's 1906 flight. Weisskopf is a much more true precursor, even if his efforts weren't documented.
1:34 I always loved this melody, even played it myself on bass back then. Pretty much forgot about it for years, and a minute ago I clicked the button .... and it totally hit me. Timeless classic!
13:05 to 14:05 amazing part here and with a utopian, extraterrestrial mysterious character... The whole ost of this game, is purely out worldly, alien and ethereal. Same for 6:03 to 8:42
I never had any of the SotB games through my childhood with my Amiga, but despite this the track 'Outro' never fails to take me back to a happier time.
I also found that particular piece very tasty back in the day. Especially the first part of it. It works exceptionally well in the context. You are suddenly confronted with a new scene and the music delivers the perfect suspense for it.
18:00 to 18:30, I never heard before, was it a cut track? Sounds like it should be played after defeating the boss but before you've, well, done what needs to be done to win the level
earlier the games got more love in it from the dev´s , in sound , music and grafiks . earlier the games got more darkness and more tragedy. the aktual games are too simpel , only action action action , no great story .....sry for my bad english hope you can understand it.
Have you never heard of Kickstarter games or those many indie titles on several digital markets? I think the worst problem with games we have these days is that we just don't have the time to play all of them through.
Both dumb comments. Doesn't have the love? Okay. So Cuphead hasn't? What? Are you kidding me? The sound... Erm have you played BF1 and heard the sound production? Same with Battlefront 2! More tragedy? Go play "that dragon cancer" and try not to be left a fucking wreck of tears as you realise this world is so fucking cruel... And, Dein the narrative thing is so retarded... Most games from this era had a narrative shoehorned in. Compared to the likes of FF15, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Witcher 3, etc these games were shocking. I mean you can argue with me. I invite you to - but some quick info. I am a games designer and my speciality is narrative structure and delivery. And back in the day, so to speak, ludonarrative dissonance was rife. Games were more life Hotline Miami. The prime examples would be with like Mario. Mario for the switch has a way more in depth story and Donkey Kong, or the Cement Factory game. GTA for example is way more narrative driven now than before. With 4 being darker... The protagonist dying. Look at Prince of Persia. But sure the likes of Double Dragon had a great narrative that in no way ended stupidly in the Arcade version ... Now I love the Amiga... It was my first gaming machine. Along with a Game Gear that xmas in 1990. In fact this is one of my favourite games from the system along with Captain Planet, Treasure Island Dizzy, Speedball, Chuck Rock, Back To The Future, Turtles (even with the antipiracy bs - as a child I struggled to read the black text on the red paper, which was used to stop photocopying) Tetra Quest, Rolling Ronny, Kid Gloves, and a scooby game I don't remember the name of... the first level was on a boat and you are unfortunately scrappy... plus many many many more. Like Days of Thunder... Aaaaah. Nostalgia.
Chapter list fixed.

@@PikkaBird google "Hezarfen Ahmet Celebi".
Kind of ironic as a Wright did the music for this game. The plane at the beginning crashing.
@@PikkaBird Are you telling us Weisskopf composed this song in reality ?
Such a masterpiece. Not only for the Amiga fans, this music is a masterpiece for any game lover!

Un juego digno de ser terminado, una obra maestra del Amiga.
Great Memories.Loved the sad "Game Out" Music. What a nice Time it was.

Thank you! My ears inside headphones are very grateful for finally hearing this in stereo
Best game soundtrack ever and game graphics were beautiful and cutting edge!...... Il cherish and enjoy it forever!.......
Forest theme is my top favourite :)
timeless masterpiece
Thanks for upload that video ... that was pure art in end of Amiga life ... Shadow of the Beast trilogy was art design in game
Best game of the series.
Some Amiga games music (and that's one of them) will put you in another atmosphere🪐
5:25 best part
11.04 - 13.06 a little bit of musical genius there. Just like Turrican 2's 'The Wall' by Chris Huelsbeck
Love this ost
Thank you so much for this!
Everything is perfect except for one thing: NEVER put disks on the top of a turned on CRT monitor, unless you want to turn them in fancy coasters.

Good music.
20:10 onwards is the most memorable track, for me
Agree, I wish it was more prominent as it's a stand-out tune
Thanks for the stereo ! Have you "magnet link" (or torrent) of your work ? (With separate songs in order to scrobble with LastFm)
thanx :-)
nice
What some shurrikens and a classy hat can you help to become...
Doesn't know the one who made this screen that floppy discs mustn't be put over a CRT monitor?
You know, maybe someone wanted them to become erased or what... ;)

@@nickarmitt4722 Any and all credibility you had in your reply was gone the moment you opened with calling the previous posts "dumb".
Nice music, it was a weird game - the hat ruined it (but they split the world into levels which made it out of character for a SotB game).
