N I like to do my unconditional loving kindness training on Raghu talking about exactly what Ram Dass is about to talk about. Other than that I am endlessly grateful for these gentle warriors!
Yes, I appreciate the presentation of the material, but find the intros very long winded and unnecessary. The great thing about these talks is that they don’t need introductions or explanations.
Yeah the intros are a bit irritating sometimes. Sometimes I'll forget about them and start the video to listen while I shower and then in stuck listening to self promotion

Love this but it sounds a little deterministic. For example I didn’t choose my traumatic-really traumatic-childhood! So should I just “flip” the switch on my outlook and think it was meant to be? Maybe someone can enlighten me?
It could be less choosing it, then learning to make piece with the past. I’ve had my share of trauma, and yes thinking about it hurts and I still bare the scars. But thinking about it takes more energy from the things that I could do to find my peace. It might not have been meant to be, but there’s lessons in everything in how we choose to handle it.
@@deborahalissa good point but haven’t us humans as tribal animals always prevailed at some other tribes expense? I can give countless examples of one human tribe dominating and subjugating another! Not to excuse it! It’s a fact!
Your really traumatic childhood was meant to be just as much (or little) as all the wars on this earth are meant to be. Some of it will hopefully lead you to something better (or more expanded) but if not, at least just know that without darkness there is no light. So there’s that. I would simply recommend not to think too much about why it happend, it happend. But that was then and this is now. So you let go and you move on.

Sounds like you're saying play the role without attachment.
Dear Raghu, with all kindness, I do not want to hear your shtick before each episode. To the listeners, like this comment if you also think so.

@@AtlasTheTitan117 that’s a good point!
There's family karma and intergenerational trauma related to centuries of choosing to colonize here in America for example.
