I got absolutely hammered with some of the cast of X2 at the Dorch about 20 years back. Wish I could say it was a night to remember, but I can't. Because I literally can't lol
What an amazing episode, thanks David! You have hit the essence of James Bond sophistication & style with this epic visit. C & J Marketing Department is on line 1 asking for the immediate return of their slippers. Carry on!
Great video gentlemen, are there any plans to interview Edward bidolph ,he has an amazing blog the food of James bond ,he had a vintage James bond breakfast at the Dorchester when the solo novel was released , we'd love to see you cover the food aspect more , have a lovely evening gentlemen.
Hey david who is your favorite actor to play james bond? And if you had a chance to give ideas for a movie to be made what would be some of your ideas?
Unless I missed it, you guys forgot to mention the barber 💈 at the hotel, where nearly all James Bond actors had their first haircuts to screentest for the role. Lazenby famously did this on his own in preparation for his audition. Alas, I must also mention that the Dorchester, however a lovely and historic hotel, is currently the object of a boycott. It is owned by the Brunei royal family - the last absolute monarchy in the world - via an investment company run by The Brunei 🇧🇳 ministry of finance. This monarchy and the government it dictates are notorious for religious intolerance, LGBTQ 🏳️🌈 bigotry and human rights abuses. Because of this negative high profile, this hotel and all properties in The Dorchester Collection are a no-go for conscientious travelers 🧳 .
This was an awesome video. I had an interview at The Dorchester. I didn't get it but I do work For The Maybourne group (Claridge's/The Connaught/& The Berkeley) :).
Nobody does it better than David and Ajay, some kind of heroes!!
Ajay, a true and great Bond man with English style. Always a pleasure to be accompanied with. And his stories are marvellous!
I'm going to the Dorchester in the Spring for Afternoon Tea with my Mum....She loves that kinda thing. 👍

Thanks David, thanks Ajay. I thoroughly enjoyed learning a little about the Dorchester and Mayfair Bond connection.
Aj is awesome! Lots of cool history here

Fascinating! - thanks Ajay and David 🙂.
This video has made my day. I love Ajay! 😁
Love Ajay's knowledge and his manner in presenting, a great addition to the vlog David
Love the slippers with the dinner suit! So much dash!
Always good to see our mutual friend ACE here 😀❤️
Beautifully done David, capturing the essence of James Bond and his domain-excellent.
I have to highlight a point made...."The Jensen Intercepter" from the novel Solo... now that is a car Bond should drive in a Movie.
A lovely video indeed. Isn't Ajay an erudite and eloquent young man. A superb story teller of the first order.
Ajay is fabulous, but I think 'young' is pushing it ever so slightly! 😆

Great episode! The stories and history were fantastic and so interesting!
I want those Spectre slippers now.
Loved this.👍
I cannot get use to your serious Bond face at the gambling tables. You look better smiling like David. Cheers!
I really thought you might have had a rooftop moment in a wool overcoat shades of the Skyfall ending. Looking out over London.
Will you be over to London to celebrate 🍾 the 60th anniversary later this year
We seem to be having an extra long windy season in the UK. M.
Perhaps, as there's been alot of vocal activity in the Palace of Westminster recently ?

Ajay is my James Bond London Alexa.

I had a haircut there, ridiculously expensive and one of the worst I’ve ever had. Probably not the same guy who did Lazenby
