We use to have a red and gold theme tree. We now have 3 Christmas trees. The one in the lounge is Disney and travel baubles. The tree in the hall is gold and dusty pinks. The tree in the Christmas is a riot of colour. We went to the Silverstone Lapland. You drive a lap of the racetrack which has lights and lasers whilst listening to music from the Silverstone radio station. We have a whole range of advent calendars this year. We have a Disney socks, Harry Potter Lego, 2 Cadbury’s, Disney bauble one and a toast a marshmallow one. Think we might have over done it lol x

We don't do a colors scheme on our tree. We just do ornaments that we have collected throughout the years. Just some we've brought over time, or we've made. Especially the ones I made at school. I remember doing one project one year (school or not--I was in preschool at the time, to young to go to actual school) either at school or at home with my mom and dad, but we made little reindeer out of candy canes, giggly eyes, and pipe cleaners. I think a few may have survived, if not... I know what I am making again! I think I remember us doing that with clothes hangers (that are used for hanging clothes out on a line to dry) too. I know we probably have some of those still around... if not, I am making them too!
Hi Claire. I just love watching you and Simon go over his Lego advent calendar 😂. Your tree looks so beautiful with all the red splashes of color. The tree skirt is pretty as well as the stockings your sister-in-law got made for you both. I know its sad you haven't been able to see your parents much. Next year will be a better year for us all. My boys stars wars advent FINALLY arrived on Monday. So now it is complete with Harry Potter, Star Wars and chocolate Advent calendars. Yay! Even though they are older - they are loving all three. I so enjoyed watching you talk about your ornaments and decorating your tree. I think I have told you this before, but we don’t have a color scheme on the tree. We buy ornaments from our travels or things that brought us memories during the year. So our tree is full of memories, sort of a scrapbook of our life. I plan to post our Christmas decor on Instagram (on Christmas Eve) so you can see it then. 😊 You definitely need to get a tree for your blue ornaments. If you decide to get an artificial one, watch the sells after Christmas, as they will significantly reduce the tree prices. Balsam Hill has beautiful realistic looking trees. How are we on day 18 of December!?! I feel like the Christmas season is flying by- too quickly for my taste. I hope you and Simon have a lovely weekend.

Back with a weekly Christmas treat. Simon’s Lego advent calendar is so fiddly but I loved his sound effects. Three boxes behind on your advent calendar have you been been ill? 🤣. Plus you left tin foil on the corner of box number four. Get yourself to the doctors...... 🤣🤣. How long was it before the ornaments on the door handles began to annoy you as they banged against it as they are opened and closed??? 😂 You have so many individual ornaments that bring back instant memories. We have some from trips to Florida but the majority came from Costco. 🤣 Your tree dropped nicely and was very bushy. Like me, you’re so finicky about evenly spreading out your lights. We have 1800 cluster lights on ours and close the blinds at night to stop planes from landing. 🤣 Yours looked great at the end and no Claire tree would be complete with a Dumbo somewhere on it.. 🤣 With the ease in restrictions over Christmas you’ll get chance to play the “Spider-Man” game with your nephew. Only one more to go before the Big Man arrives. See you next week... 🎄

Is it just me, or is the Wally calendar really easy this year? It feels easier than the last few years. Your tree looks lovely! I do all different colors on my tree, but for a long time, my mom did red and gold. We have a blue-and-silver tree where I work. It's really pretty, so when you do your blue-and-silver one, it should look great!

Hi Claire our tree is a mixture of everything when ever the children [26 and 33] travel I get new ones the latest were one from Alaska Vancouver and a Maine Lobster ver eclectic even have a Barack Obama from Washington love the kids can travel I know you like too as well

Beautiful, our big tree is very traditional colors it’s huge. I also do a 7ft pencil tree done in all old country ornaments. I love that tree skirt.
