The most ABSURD elimination I've ever seen in the history of Top Model
I kind of understand why Michelle was eliminated. Her photo this week was strong. But she hadn't had a breakout moment like the other five girls, and she was one of the shortest.
I still liked her as a model though, and she is a sweet girl!

Who is responsible for picking these "best" shots?! It's sabotage really. Someone has a terrible eye. Cheandre in particular took way more engaging shots than the one that was picked

No it's not terrible judging remember these are professionals who are searching for Africa's next top model thus they were looking at a bigger picture and in the long run Michelle wasn't fit that look
Personally I also loved her but understood their decision
I actually thought Michelle was gonna go to the final 4 if there would have been a final 4 but there wasn't. Cheandre is good but Michelle was just FIEEEEERCE!
opeyemi is the best but Michael is out of this world,I really like her photos and the way she brings Idea for their posing but I don't really knows what the judges really need from them that we are not seeing
It seems like they're in love with Michela's face and want her to represent them, but she either gets lost in translation or doesn't want it as much as it's wanted for her. It's frustrating that they keep saving her ;/
Ana Rivera I disagree with you. Unlike who you're supporting I'm guessing Michelle and Cheandre.. she has a model's figure which is rare. If she didn't want to be there, she would have never bothered to audition for it so obviously she's there for a reason. Those other girls who are judging her for missing her family are fake because they were crying while talking to their families so they especially understand how she feels but they chose to ignore it. That's pure jealousy

@@IllHandleThis Honey I'm not assuming anything, I've been through something similar. Missing family and wanting to quit is very normal when you have a very close relationship with your family. Of course not everyone is lucky enough to have a good family so I don't expect you to understand but her wanting to leave doesn't mean she didn't want to be a model and this was a comment from a year before. Go do something..
It bothers me that the pictures they choose to represent each girl sometimes don't seem like the best, for example Cheandre in this episode. I wanted to see the boon shot or at least with David on the floor with her leg on him 🙃

Yeah, but these girls are like 18-20 themselves. They most likely still see themselves as teenagers. In the U.S.A, they still wouldn't be able to drink alcohol.

Oluchi already predetermined that Michelle would go. When they were judging her, they said that it was good, but oluchi added 'this elimination will not be easy for sure' or something along those lines. I thought, why say that all of a sudden? Then during deliberation she steered the discussion into judging by the entire performance vs just the one photo, so that they would have reason to vote Michele out vs Roselyn who, unfortunately had the worst photo this episode. This episode was rigged. I'm hoping not the entire cycle. They seemed determined to also keep Michaela who I'm sorry just seems to be totally uninterested! Doesn't even say thank you to the judges after her turn, and when she got her photo back to mean she's safe, she looked distraught, like she hoped to be voted out! Come on.
I'm glad Josie took those pictures and not You Know Who. Those snaps were 👌🏿

For those women to be Cycle ONE contestants, they modeled from head to toe week after week! This is the strongest top 6 that I’ve ever seen besides America’s Next Top Model, cycle 16! Either one of Africa’s top 6 could’ve easily snagged a modeling contest based off what they delivered so far. Michelle ATE in every single photograph, even the one they chose to eliminate her with! I personally thought that she was going to make it into the final 4, but it goes to show that you never know what the judges are TRULY looking for until they sit behind the panel and make tough decisions!

Michaela is so beautiful! She has a good heart, she's feeling the pressure. She just needs some strength and encouragement. Her and Aamita are my faves.
In all honesty, i lost interest in this season, the modelling industry is whack, like whack. A gal has potentials and u pick an emotional wreck over her. Good for them, just cos of body sieze and height, am done. I need an update on Michelle , where is she now, please

You’re the one who seems racist. It was business and that’s all. They didn’t say anything bad against him or disrespect him. They were very nice and professional. Learn what actual racism is. Nothing about what they did made them appear racist.

I think both Cheandre and Michelle are supa lovely natured girls given that they are both white
and, even though they are both Nationals of South Africa no doubt born and raised, they are not
originals from any of the ancient 1st Nation People or Tribes of the African Sub Continent.
Despite all that, they are humble with kind dispositions which I really like about them.
They are not nasty when faced with girls who are fearful lacking confidence and real self esteem.
I think they understand this and they bring it with them in every episode because, it shows they
simply do not have all the usual baggage some of the other girls bring. I wish them both well
they are kind sensitive girls and NOT conceited.

A lot of people questioning why Michelle went home. The reality is she is a good model but she doesn't have the height and she is not "model thin" and the reality is would she be able to get work in Europe, North America, etc over the other models? Sadly not, so that's what they meant about looking at the overall picture rather than the actual challenge at hand. In hindsight I don't think she should've been chosen as one of the finalist, including Cheandre.
She doesn't have to be model thin. Even back then the modeling world was changing. She could easily do print work. I think she said that she modeled before the show. I would probably would have picked her because there's something about her face that I find interesting, but I agree about Cheandre. I wouldn't have picked her either. I see her look all over the place!
If Michelle were in ANTM she'd go all the way to the international destination.

Yes she's beautiful and she has it all. But that's not the point! This is a competition people!! This is not about who's the most beautiful because clearly, they all are otherwise they wouldn't be here!
This is about fighting your way to the top, proving to the judges that you deserve the chance you're given by learning and improving your skills!
And I don't feel that Michaela gets that! She obviously deserves to be in this competition, but from where I'm standing, she doesn't deserve to "WIN" this because she acts like she doesn't even want to win! Therefore, she's spoiling that opportunity for an another girl!
