The 40k Rhinos and Predators are perfectly fine in a Heresy army. They're the Mars pattern variants and were in canon used during the Great Crusade and later Horus Heresy ofc. Spartan looks great and yeah those are the old Forgeworld doors, sadly they aren't sold anymore :(
@@shadeofheresy but they lack that personality! A salamander primaris looks just like every other primaris but green and with their logo slapped on to it. Horus heresy salamanders got decors like actual giant lizard skin and stuff.
@@theholyknight6935 I think its more because of who's playing it. As a staff member at Warhammer World told me, 'Nobody asks about Heresy that hasn't been in the hobby for years already'. Some real love goes in to Heresy armies from experienced gamers/modellers. I think thats down to the 10 year span on 1st edition honestly. It can take your average Joe years to get the army they want ready. Bring able to afford it, build it as they want it, paint it properly. We're grown asse adults with busy lives! A unit start to finish takes me about 2mths, so a 3k army is maybe 18-24mths? No point starting if you know the rules will change when you finally finish.
Hi there, get asked this one quite often. They are bog standard IKEA cabinets called Detolf. The go to cabinet for modellers for years. Unfortunately Ikea discontinued them earlier this year but are readily available on the used market still. If I had the space I would buy them all. lol. I have 2 IKEA lights at the top and some strip lgihts around the edges, the strip lights are pretty garbage though.
Spectacular display
@Donkas thank you! Been working hard this year to get stuff painted. Finally coming together.
Love the army and the paint job. I want your master of signals
Thanks man! Yeah he came out really nice.
Nice!!!

That is good to know! I do like this variant of tank, especially the Predators.
Nice
Looking good brother!
Utterly mad respect for you man, from one Ultramarine fanboy to another. Lets go man
why do horus heresy marines look so much cooler than 40k marines? Why cant primaris look this cool???
There are some Primaris in there to be fair, and I do quite like them. The older armour marks are nice though. Mkiii is probably my favourite!

Also we have different armour marks. So mkiii, mkiv, mkv and mk vi and they all have a unique look @@theholyknight6935
Hey! Love the army. Now I do gotta know, what type of display cabinets are you holding your army in?
