I think Erica got a rubbish ending. She was popular with viewers, fair and so lady like. She did a lot more for the likes of Lizzie and Doreen in the earlier years and fought very hard against the department while in the seat. And as for that Meg Morris, she is so two faced, talking about her to Ann behind her back. Hard to believe she had her as her bridesmaid when wed to Bob. She never kept in touch or anything. Erica out of respect should had at least got the walking out the of gate, looking up at the building with a smile and the sad theme music playing for her final exit.
I agree and if you think about she just vanished twice. When she originally left she was there one minute and gone the next. Frankly a shameful way to treat one of the original cast and my favourite to boot!
Interesting analysis, but I think Erica's promotion was a great idea allowing her a return to the series to delight viewers. But Patsy left the series and wasn't available to record any more episodes, therefore the last scenes were a slight anticlimax. But she did great stuff over the years and I've started all over again. Episode 69 tonight. One of my favourites.
😃I really like Both Erica Davidson & Anne Reynolds. But to be honest l preferred Erica Davidson - Patsy is an amazing actress. She always looked amazing & very beautiful. & to this very day she is still a very very beautiful lady. But in all fairness her leaving the show could of bin done a lot better. It's like the writers just got bored and couldn't think of a better exit than this. I like Ann but l still prefer Mrs Davidson. Such a lovely lady😃😉. I couldn't imagine anyone else as her.

Funny how in Wentworth (Prisoner reboot) Erica was never seen again after season 1 with much of a explanation.
Frankly implied she had been sacked, likely because of Jacs's murder.
