So beautiful, natural and calm. Thank you AT for being a good host to the Ghanaian brother and for showcasing this beautiful rich village. It's rich in everything. 💕
So serene. I schooled in Limuru and the greenery, misty monings and colonial houses are my fondest memories. We used to do cross-country in the tea farms but I didn't appreciate as much as I do now. This video is nostalgic. Thanks African Tigress.
The place is amazing, the birds singing , the greenery shows the place is full of life, l love Kenya and wish to visit, thanx my gal love your videos lots, keep up the good work African Tigress
For those who don't know Kenya is the 3rd largest tea exporters in the world, so this village is very rich coz of Tea and its GPD is the same as the the whole country of Rwanda.
No, Kenya is the worlds largest exporter of tea... China and India (the largest producers) consumes their tea locally because of their massive local markets.
From Trinidad 🇹🇹 &Tobago in the Caribbean I luv this place the greenery &simplicity makes it really rich only in AFRICA can do this I am coming up that place is heaven on planet 🌎 earth BLESS for showing us the beauty &splendour of the motherland.
Welcome to our village Williams, thats is where i was born and we give thanks to God for such a paradise in Africa a continent that is hated so much, when we travel in abroad we normally get so much of racism just because of our color,..this people not knowing what we have left in our countries. Unfortunately though, the history of this place is land grabbing, eviction and mistreatment of the original land owners by the settler colonialists. The Tigoni people were moved to Lari around 1928. They were awarded 1.5 acres of land for every 1 acre taken but the quality of land in the two places is not the same. There was also alot of pragmatic politics among the collaborator chiefs who took the best land in Lari. Many people were disadvantaged and some even forcefully evicted. This land issue was the root cause for the Lari Massacre in 1953. Read David Anderson: Histories of the Hanged ( Britain's dirty War in Kenya and the End of Empire) for more insight
Include a cup of tea at Kiambethu , nature walk at Brakenhurst forest, round of golf at Limuru Golf Club , terrace choma at Sovereign Suites , a hack in the tea plantations , must visit Karirana tea estate, cruisers picnics, Browns cheese diary farm

What a beautiful and wonderful life I think I had. Thanks from showing this please. It’s beautiful. I hope some day you can take a trip to kericho ☕️ estate.
This is what we call peaceful life. That's what life is all about. Thank you so much for sharing African Tigress. What a beautiful village breathtaking.
Wow very picturesque... Problem is at the rate Nairobi is developing & expanding all this beauty will vanish & turn into jungle blocks. Remember Runda used to be the same 30 or 40 yrs ago... The Kenyan govt should create a buffer zone so as to protect this wonderful ecosystem..
I disagree, zoning is highly observed in Kenya especially in residential areas with strict associations. Old runda looks the same, new runda has modern houses but still highly regulated. There's a minimum acreage division observed in Karen as well.
@@lindsieodhiambo4669 Nairobi city actually doesn't have zones. Those that are there were put in place in the 70s and clearly there's nobody to enforce said rules. Look at upper hill. it was zoned for something else and is now a commercial hub. In Runda it's the neighbourhood's association that regulates itself. But this is actually meant to be the government's job
I agree with you. The concrete jungle that Nairobi has become gives me headaches! I am a sucker for nature. Trees, grass, flowers, streams, oceans, birds chirping, you name it. Let's just hope that the masses will not turn this beautiful place into a cabro and concrete eyesore.

@African Tigress, thanks always for bringing nice vlogs with information. That place is beautiful. You're one of my favorite youtubers plus African traveler.
I wish you took some drone shots. I have been to Brackenhurst many times. On some Sundays, you will find Christians from far and wide being baptized on that river near the entrance. The place is over 100 years old and was established by British missionaries.
Brackenhurst Resort used to be the country home of the British Colonial Governor-Generals of Kenya before our independence. Tigoni and its's environs used to be known as the White Highlands where some of the British colonialists built their country homes away from Nairobi. One can easily mistake if for an English Country side somewhere in Yorkshire, England. The area can be cold and in fact when you built a house here you'll need to include a chimney to keep the house warm.
How serene! I love ❤️ Kentmere. Brackenhurst is gorgeous. I will pay a visit one day. Great paradise. Excellent narration just as great as the nature over there. Thanks
i love all your videos but this one was extremely relaxing It is all so lush and green, beautiful places for us all to explore thanks for sharing paradise with us.
Brackenhurst reminds me of the Christian Bible Camp I attended in the summers from age 11-17. The houses, church, grounds, and forest look very similar. Love it!
And let's appreciate how it's clean. Africa should be like this. And don't tell me the excuse it's because they have money" it's not about money!! its about education. It doens't require a dollar to create a clean community.
Yes, Kenya has beautiful places, these are actually lands formally occupied by British colonial masters and were later taken by rich Kenyans after Independence, you guys know your regular village setup!
Tigoni may be beautiful but it's freezing cold and always foggy. In fact, she picked a good day to go with the sun out and not too many clouds because in July, average temperature is below 10 Celsius.
How do you know this place .... its my home area grew up here .... The only place you wake up in the morning ,breath in and the lungs dance to every beat in this world
You seriously don't think that Tigoni is a village. In Kenya we know what a village is and who lives there, right? Unless that definition has changed since I relocated to the US 24 years ago
