  • The major man-made draw on the peninsula is Chua Linh Ung, a temple whose name means 'Spirit Responding Temple'. The highlight is a simply colossal statue of the Bodhisattva Quan Am, or in her fuller name, Quan The Am (literally, the goddess who 'Listens to the cries of the World'). The towering, white statue is positioned on a lotus-shaped platform that looks south to Da Nang city. Note the signs not to feed the monkeys, which scamper through the trees.
Linh Ung Pagoda is a spiritual site built on 20 hectares land during the 18th century with the harmonious combination of the modernity and the tradition of Vietnamese pagoda’s architecture. One of the main attraction to see here is the 67 meters Lady Buddha, Goddess of Mercy or Quan Yin Statue watching over the local fishermen at sea and 35 meters in diameter lotus, which is rated as a highest Buddha Statue in Vietaam.
