Frieza doesn't really have the team to rule the meta since I don't think he pairs that well with Super 17 on PO since he seems Strike base, LOE is a joke, and Movies with Janemba and Beast could work, but not enough to be more than a rogue team, imo. We also have two powerful Yellows in UUI and Baby finally has a use.

You do know that Super 17 cancel his own atributes downgrades and abnormal conditions when his gauge resets right? And he does this every time he enters the battlefield,so the 60 cost will be kinda useless against him.

@@juanayala4408 If he has even 1 strike card in his hand, he will flat out ignore the card cost increase. He gets way too much ki/ki recovery and the debuff is only for 3 counts. It's more of a check for Gohan than S17.

This ultra golden frieza would go well with a certain red LOE lf character
People forget that Super 17 nulify his own atribute downgrades when his unique gauge is 100%,and it will always pop when he enters the battlefield(and also recover ki with it and the blast cards itself),so technically he won't be disrupted by Frieza as much,ULTRA UI though might have to start the combo with a strike.
Small correction, he *cancels* his attribute downgrades (which is probably what you meant) but yeah that's a great point.
@@savior132sorry,but what would you think beyond me saying that 17 will be clean of any debuff when his gauge resets? I used a different term than the game,but it means the same,i could have used "delete" or "erase",still it would be the exact same effect as "cancel",so i really don't see what you're correcting...
Anyway,i think Super 17 is fine with that Frieza,but UL Gohan and UI might have found an problem.
@@alekijr.777 "Nullify" does *NOT* mean the same thing as "Cancel" and nullify is a separate term that the game uses.
Nullification of attribute downgrades is a buff effect that makes the character immune to future attribute downgrades inflicted upon them (either a set number, or without a limit). However, it does not remove downgrades that the character already had before they got the nullification buff effect. Meanwhile, cancelling attribute downgrades is not a buff effect, but rather just removes all existing attribute downgrades on the character (but doesn't prevent future ones from being inflicted).
It is a key difference and even though I knew what you meant (cause I'd read S17's kit and he cancels, not nullifies) it's definitely worth pointing out in case anyone mistakes the two.

@@Ricin.Yup. Although if super 17 has enough ki to get an attack in, he shouldn't have too much of a problem since he'll cancel that cost debuff, get tons of ki and he has inexpensive blast costs (and also pretty decent ki recovery).
EDIT: Actually, this scenario would only happen when S17 switches in after Frieza does. If Frieza switches in after Super 17 uses his first card and gets his gauge, Super 17 might have to bear the +60 cost for more than 1 arts card. Even with Super 17's impressive ki restoration, that might not be enough to continue the combo.

Looks quite good. I dont see him being top 3 but definitely top 5 for sure. Gohan takes a bit of a hit with frieza's release but 17 not so much especially when Baby is right there to help 17 out. Looks like this truly is the year of GT.

My hybrid team struggled in the higher ranks this pvp season because s17 is literally in every match and just steamrolls everything. Now Frieza will make ultra gohan a liability potentially to use on the team. Think I'll be dialing back this next season...

Well the last Ultra Unit I got was Hit. I recently got LF Baby. Otherwise my last new LF was purple kid Goku.
I can’t even play online well because the metas are hard to keep up with. Online play is just frustrating. Outdated units, and outdated or lack of any sort of mechanics. I like DBL but not being able to come close to fun gameplays make it impossible to want to continue.
A new Ultra F2P unit with some useful mechanics even if they are reused from another unit, would be better than nothing at all.
@@cap3132 Talking about the more F2P Ultras part. Ultras take alot more budget than LF's do, and they released 3 for free. Thats why Ultras started becoming paid, because they have a significantly higher price to make than regular LL units. Asking them to make F2P Ultras that are solid (keep in mind none of the F2P Ultras were solid on release) is like asking someone to renovate your room for free. Its dumb.

You forgot about ultra UI.. he counters purple and melee, which is this Frieza. Just run UI with Gohan and you don't have an issue. This Frieza will still struggle with those gauges stopping his combos.

He going to be the best anti blast character towards in any new units and old. Increase to blast card by 60 is huge towards any meta blast card character.
Problem with that is that he's their first step to shifting out of such a heavy blast based meta. He's pretty useless against strike cards.

This character looks so sick aesthetically, one of if not the best looking units in the game
His unique gauge charge is similar to Kid Buu's and not like Super Vegta, but since has 100%, it will charge twice as fast as kid buu's and if comeback triggered within 90 seconds, would charge 3 or 4 times faster.

It looks like the green card doesn't have any limitations for how many times it can restore vanish so if you use this frieza on a green card spamming team you could have infinite vanishes

This is the same thing that happened some time ago. They decided to counter the Ultra when there is a LF unit which is arguably n. 1 in the game, the same thing happened with UVB, instead of countering LF GF they decided to counter UVB.
17 isn't better then gohan and individually uvb was better then gofreeza

He would 1v3 teams where as gofreeza needed the entire uni reps team to win - it did help that they had mvp 17 and yellow Jiren (+ red hit and others) but it was a team effort
LOE is absolutely ass rn and unless it gets more buffs then just the new ultra who has a worse kit then gohan and 17 its not exactly bringing it back 2 life

GT is not getting buffed on legends fest, toshi said they were going to buff GT throught out the year, and anniversary is just around the corner to give us a UG4, Revive Omega Shenron, Gohan (Parasite), Goten (Parasite), Tag SSJ Vegeta & SSJ Trunks/Gohan, etc. UVB indeed had a better kit, but how does that matter? I'm not considering kit, i'm considering overall, which means its still "arguably". LOE is not ass rn, they got 2 decent zenkais, and 1 unique equipment for Cooler, they are definitely below average but not completely ass (Gofrieza can still cook).

from the looks of it, they do not say he cannot stack card draw from the gauge which is crazy, starts with permanently 2x and can staxk it
It says *while* the gauge is up. It's not a permanent effect, it goes when the gauge resets (and is no longer full) and comes back when it gets full again. So only a maximum of one instance of that effect can be active.
Imagine they drop an IT Goku that nulifies all counterattack/comeback mechanics

We are doing 3 free ones then you wont get a free one for a while. 2 years later no more free ones.
Ultras take about 4 months to make so we will only see 3-4 per year. Ultras now release every month or bimonthly.

Frieza most likely has an aoe green since you can see Goku get knocked back when Frieza uses it. And why would we have a birds-eye view for a non-aoe? That’s never happened
