GCR new yard Woodford Halse

Drone footage of the area known as new yard north of Woodford Halse on the way toward Charwelton.
This area hasn’t been farmed on and still remains a clear area , would have been full of sidings holding up to 3000 wagons a week back in its opening. Now just another lost railway to walk.

Channels like these need more recognition. I'm quite passionate about the GCR it was nice seeing a video of one of the lost parts.

It's an absolute disgrace there is no longer any sign of the vast complex of sheds and sidings that once dominated Woodford and its marshalling yards
