That last wreck avoidance was insane
I can't figure out how he even saw the wreck start. Even looking as far forward as possible, the car in front blocked the view.
Thefirehawkman you can actually see at the end of turn 4 one car side ways then in the grass so you can guess a wreck is coming up.

I run those weekly, sucks they don't go official as often :( They're really fun cars to drive.

These are fun to watch. My favorite thing is thinking back over the last 9.5 years I've been on iRacing, the times I've done the same things (or failed quite spectacularly at them). Never have I seen anything like number 1 this week.

Since finding this iRacing series, I have decided to sell my PS4 and invest in a PC and sim racing rig. My goal is to have 6 VR rigs lined up in my house for me and my family/friends. This is awesome, I can’t wait to get this!

James Shives nothing illegal about it, it’s just that most of the time going onto the grass like that will result in either a spin or losing too much speed. So there’s no advantage being gained, it’s just wreck avoidance and impressive that he made it work!
Jake Feinerman Ah, that makes alot of sense now, thinking about in that way, because it wasn't an advantage in any way, versus track extending on corners. Thanks for the clarification, it is amazing how stable the car was over that grass.
Also, what was that red lmp doing? Going real slow and turned into him off the grass, like he wanted to wreck him.

When are we going to get some GT4 and TCR class car's, since GT4 isn't GT3 it should be added, and to make racing even more fun we need TCR so then we can separate the driver's even more like what IMSA does today.

what's the big deal about his number? Explanation please?
@@doctor_octagon2448 usually races on iRacing are set by iRating, meaning the #37 most likely has a lower iRating than the #6 sicne that's how a field is set.
@@conorhorn2471 So for him to be number 6 means that, in most cases , #6 would have a better rating than #37 overall, correct?

I'm not familiar at all with iRacing rules, how could the lmp1 at place N°10 overtake all of the cars and not be penalized?

Just my opinion, but we don't need to be glorifying what happened in #6. It's just going to encourage more people to go through every crash wide-open.
Isn't iracing just the best shit in motor sport. Almost better than the real thing.
NASCAR would still include the car from #1 in the crash. The most cars “involved” the better. 🙄

I started with a laptop and relatively cheap pedals and wheel (logitech G920, which i still use). just acquire stuff over time. you don't have to go all in right away.

It's a Joke that Number 10 get in there. He do not Respekt any track limits and in real racing he has to give the position back, but in iRacing it's just 1X for Track limits, what a joke

Do you need to a have a $1000 computer for this, or will a $500 one do just as much justice?
I have a 300$ PC with a 22 inch monitor, I can race with most of the settings set at high with no problem.
iRacing don't need a good PC that's a good part of it

Very easy to control the car when you lose control, in real races is very difficult, I see no reality in this game, and the look is the same as ps1 game, "Simulator".....
