diff lockers were used for Cross axle situations..aka ..two wheels off the ground and 2 wheels on the ground..naturally differentials would send power to the wheel with least traction..the wheels that are off the ground...this is the best off road upgrade ever....honestly..why didn't these vehicles come with these features from factory..it just makes complete sense!!

For example I know for a fact that the drawback with the air locker is that it has too much point of failure and is high maintenance and the O rings eventually WILL fail causing oil to leak back up into the air tubing, eventually causing the diff to remain open indefinitely lol. The original, predecessor version of the air lock is actually the better type but these guys dont know that. They're sheep just consuming whatever the higher ups give them, your words not mine. But back to my point, it costs more and novices would mash them up....and another one being its not as durable/long life as arb makes it out to be. Nowadays the way products getting crappier, you're better off going bespoke/niche or, according to you, be a sheep. It is what it is.
