Analogous to : Developed countries cringing at China & India for fossil-fuel consumption.
Don't complain about sand-mining while sitting/living in concrete jungles.

There’s always a cost to development. Either we cut down trees to build house for our population or we use concrete. It was such a relief when people slow down the trees cutting businesses. Trees are human lungs…etc. Where will we put up our homeless folks now? Our future generations will need their homes too. High rise buildings are extremely expensive to build. The cost of maintenance is enormous. There are many hazards associated with dwellings in high rise buildings. Such as fire, decaying (we called them material fatigues) to name a few. You picked a really difficult topic to resolve. Love your insightful thoughts.

Construction debris can be recycled & used as an alternative for sand.

Not highly corrupted people but our parliamentary nd legislative assembly members are also involved in it.. Which means govt is making sand mining at such devastating level..! What to do now if bureaucrats support or keep quiet on the things bcos if they speak they'll be punished wd suspension, adverse entry, punishment posting like things..!! Even administrators escape themselves smoothly after they got entangled in illegal activity..!
