Thanks for the review. I have the F7 paired with open baffle speakers, I loved hearing you describe exactly what I have been experiencing as well. What a special amplifier, thank you Nelson Pass!

You are wrong! That IS a review and you have conveyed the essence of the sounds you heard very simply and forcefully. You didn't need any technical jargon or millions of clever words, just your expression of love for what this amp does. Brilliant stuff.

I borrowed a friend’s pass xa25. Underwhelming when I turned it on, but after warmed up and listening in long sessions, it was soooo nice.

The Sugden A21 SE is amazing, but comes at a cost. The Schiit Aegir is probably the best bang-for-buck amp, sonically, and the cheapest amp to ever make Stereophile’s Class A rating.

Ive never NOT warmed up any solid state amp Ive ever owned. Always found that to be beneficial. I'm currently starting from scratch in putting a new (last?) system together. I appreciate reviews like yours (and appreciate the humor thrown in), in that they help me decide which direction I want to head....open baffle?, tubes?.....it boggles the mind!! But reviews and reviewers like yourself are important as I'm nearly 2 hours away from anyplace that sells anything resembling high end. (No, Best Buy doesnt count!!). So thanks again....I thoroughly enjoy your new channel and subscribed early on. Sorry for the rant!! (Must be the whiskey.)

Always enjoy your videos. I went from a 6 channel Classe Amplifier to a 2 watt Decware amp back in 1999 with Fostex full range drives. Never heard big wattage SS amp sounding that good as far as midrange and vocals.

Loic, I use INT-25 with PAP Trio 15 Classic Voxativ PiFe, and still exploring…saxophones and brass in general, pipe organ…yes I find those wind tones and simultaneity of instrument or pipe tones really special. Piece of wood in sax is “reed”, right? I like your reviews and other good ones like Thomas’s because others’ experiences/observations can bring one to see and hear something you didn’t see and hear before. 😊

Another interpretation of the "first watt" is that it's that one watt that will take your speakers from zero to their sensitivity SPL and in this range most music emerges from silence - sure then there's bass and transients and you need 300watts :)
