yea i never new u bolted the clutch to the fly wheel. and never new you can build a whole car with a wrench and one flat head lolololol. it's cool but not accurate at all

After I fully assembled the car in about 6 hours, I got in it, put the choke on, cranked it over, gave it a little gas with my G27 wheel and heard the engine rumble to life. Then shifted into reverse, slowly let the clutch out with some revs and crept it back out of the garage. Then kept the RPM's at 3,000 to warm it up and took the choke off to see if it idled. It was idling, I got out and looked at the shitty car I built and was filled with more pride than I think I've ever felt in a game. Anyone else with me on that?
This game made me buy a G920 (since i also had an Xbox with some car games) and since then i have never had more enjoyment out of a videogame, een tho my PC has some serious problems with random crashes/feezes with some games (MSC included) i still usually make myself start up the game again and re-do what i just did the last 3 hours.
I can truthfully say that this is the best game i have ever bought
A racing wheel is a great purchase, I have put 2,500+ hours on my G27 and it is still working great, although the pedal potentiometers are starting to lose some accuracy. But yeah, the experience of actually using the wheel to back the car out of the garage the first time was a HUGE part of the enjoyment.. Cheers!
K31TH3R theres a certain sense of achievement after slamming together a shitheap of a Datsun 100A in this game and hear it fire up and idle.. its like watching a baby being born.. minus the screaming and the blood.

because it's annoying. You can get mosquito spray from the store or just make sure your dirtiness level is always low
Oh right I hadn't though about the dirtiness thing. It's a nice minor detail, and the game is supposed to be realistic so it makes sense to have somethin like that.
This game was meant to be annoying and also made for patience. Even on the website it says the physics bugs are actually supposed to be in the game.

Not even close ,he added the brake piston first before actually putting brake disc on ,when it should brake disc first but no brake lines to bleed, and torque down the driveshaft with no engine or trannny in Bay.
Like some aspects are real but the order you put in part on is not realistic.

@@benjaminfranklyn604 order is being fixed every update, brakes need to be bleed to work properly, cam and crankshaft have to set on marks, timing needs to be adjusted etc. There was a shitton added in last 4 years and the game will still get few updates before it's considered as final and the content wont be expanded (they will still fix bugs probably)
Imagine what an amazing game would be if they implemented this system and complexity of building into a multiplayer racing game. Where you have to buy parts and tune stuff yourself. And there's not a guide to baby you all the way.

The most painful part of this is doing it with just a wrench. I know that’s how everything used to be done but after having been spoiled by power tools and rachets I don’t think my sanity would survive.

And the fact that there are so many screws in this game too to tighten up
and considering that cars barely newer than the 100A have significantly more screws, bolts, and nuts of varying sizes and thread direction, doing everything with a wrench would be Absolute Distilled Concentrated Pain
@@twentylush but properly put together car will have fewer fastener sizes in the engine, suspension. So that kinda balances things out.
This is the level of productivity one can only reach when their phone is on do not disturb mode.

as a car guy, i always tighten things down in this game as if it were real life; meaning tightening bolts starting from the inside and working my way out, and going in criss-cross or star patterns so that the pressure is even on all sides...but thats just me

*gets in van and forces a car with with no wheels into garage on bare ground, squats on floor and flawlessly builds a 4 cyl engine, starts chucking parts aroynd garace and assembles peices on car, mounts engine and tires and other essentials, gets fuel truck, drags car behind fuel truck through miles of wilderness to a gas station and puts fluids in and starts assembling last parts with engine running, literallysticks hands down into a running engine to adjust things, clips through the car the whole time, drives into random shop and summons them to pass of the car inspected, makes it legal, gets in car and drives like a fucking maniac away* all done in less than an hour, if this isnt the most inaccurate representation of what building a car ground up like that is like, then ill be damned, i rate 5/10 for lack of realism and beer
