“I am not normally a conspiracy theorist” is a programmed line of thinking. The entire world and how it came to be, how society has been shaped is blanketed in one conspiracy after another.
More than a decade ago, I did an amount of research into Inslaw/ Promis, Octopus and Danny Casolaro. I have been interviewed on a few shows about Casolaro , Octopus et al. I haven't seen the Netflix docuseries but I'm surprised to hear that some viewers say they were still confused after seeing. All I know is that the docuseries has 4 episodes. From personal exoerience I can say that isn't enough to deal with the volume of information, events and details revolving around this subject. However I assume the series provided people with enough structure to lay out the basics. If not, oh well. In any event, this is admittedly a very simple , easy to follow video that rather Clearly and Cogently lays out the basics of this case .
I watched the documentary on Netflix it was definitely an interesting story that leaves you with so many questions. I wonder why he didn't make copies of the information he had and give it to someone for safe keeping or hide it somewhere especially since he was getting death threats. I think he was murdered he worked so hard to get all those leads and get all the information he got it seems odd that he would up and kill himself without finishing something he was so obsessed with finishing. The way they described his death and the vague and super short sucide note he left is also odd. Why wasn't that Michael Riconosciuto guy murdered if they were so worried about keeping secrets ? I would think he was someone that would definitely know too much why keep him alive unless he somehow had a hand in Danny's death. Such a bizarre story.
I do think he came across some things that ultimately put his life in danger but I don't think they are necessarily all connected. He was definitely offed by somebody though.
I remember reading about this back in the 90's, back in my X-Files, "conspiracies-are-cool" days! I still think that Danny was su1(1ded rather than having done any harm to himself. The crime scene was too strange, and when someone who's been receiving threats ends up dead, they usually aren't responsible. Especially by methods they would never use themselves.
I never knew about the shoe string, the only place they found Danny's finger prints was on the bottom of the ashtray and, Danny was an atheist, so it's weird that he mentioned God in his note.
One thing that has always made me believe Danny did not take his own life. The last line of his short farewell note told the family to not worry, God will let him in. He and his family were Catholic and according to the Catholic Church, suicide is an unforgivable sin. Anyone who takes their life stands absolutely no chance at being allowed through the gates of heaven. Was his message simply an attempt to ease his family's burden? Or, was his message to tell his family he was murdered?
*_Now, do you know who the "military man" at Danny's funeral was?_* He is the one who placed a military medal on Danny's casket moments before the coffin was lowered into the ground. Did you know that the US military does *_not_* issue military medals to civilians? They only issue them to US military personnel... hmm... but no, Danny did *_not_* work for the US military. That military guy was a close friend of Danny, yet no-one talks about him. Why did Danny have military friends? And, no, that "military man" was *_not_* Colin Powell... !!!
I’ve been fascinated since I first heard of it 20 years ago. Definitely look at the world and my government in a different light
This has always fascinated me.
I am not normally a conspiracy theorist, but have to admit, this is intriguing.
More have been proven accurate then not. Search the origin of the term and who started and why. Interesting.
@@jmc8076CIA and Warren Commission created the term “conspiracy theory” to try and disprove the evidence to the contrary in the JFK Assassination.

So your not normally someone that uses logic... You'd rather believe what the government and mainstream media tells you?
Love Seriously Mysterious, listening to all of them.

Did you not watch it?? He clearly hid all of his files at a college library which is why we have all of this infromation
Check out James Corbett. He hasa doc series Called Requiem for the suicided
there was no contact that didnt show that night, had to be a ruse to make sure they could get him alone in his hotel room

This is really a great show John ❤
Absolutely amazing video! Just... Wow.
*_Rest In Peace, Danny... we miss you... we will seek justice on your behalf, no matter how long it takes!_*
Im watching this on Netflix now and its wild

Fantastic story, nicely addressed and told. Thank you!
Saw it as a kid on UM. Never forgot
So sad. Complicated and scary. The darkness that dwells in men's hearts always prevails. Rest in peace Danny. You tried your best.
So true. No one has really clarified this story. One big book about it was a hot mess.
Thanks for covering this case.. there’s not many videos on this. Probably because they are too scared.
I never knew about the shoe string, the only place they found Danny's finger prints was on the bottom of the ashtray and, Danny was an atheist, so it's weird that he mentioned God in his note.
After watching his investigation on Netflix, it left me very curious.
😢truly sad about Mr J Carter defeat and in such a backhanded way.
Wow, this was fascinating. That final quote seems to say it all.
James Corbett ( the Corbett report has an interesting series about this
This has always interested me. The channel That Chapter had a video on it which i canr find anymore. Really weird..
This is off Casalero was a tech journalist pretty exclusively until he got the assignment to look into promise and followed the trail to his murder
Thanks!

😔💔
Im not the sharpest knife in the drawer but I do know when to cut and run.
Thanks for sharing but find it hard to stare into your eyes for extended periods of time. Consider cutting away more.
