Dunno if anyone else is seeing this, but it's important. I don't know why this song focused on that single senator as all politicians seem to make the same continuous mistake of supporting this intrusion into people's privacy. And leaders in the tech industry as well

Or something. But there is a (modern) video of her parodying herself and saying it's ironic to make song called "ironic" where lyrics are not. "Alanis Morissette Updates 'Ironic' Lyrics"

I don't know about Woody, but FDR locked up all the Japanese in internment camps in the US during WWII. The irony (well, he uses the word loosely making fun of the original video this is parodying) is that FDR, who locked up the Japanese in those camps is locked in a Japanese made car.
