    I would like to have seen a 'puck view' showing the coverage of Bones in standup post position versus Kas or KVG in RVH position. Stand up post hug style seems to seal off the angle better, but in today's game it obviously leaves 95% of the possible plays harder to react to...then again, it provides for opportunities to get in an exciting pad stack save if there's a pass out in front instead of shot from the corner. 👍

      I use a game-ready glove that’s ready go out of the box. Heating and getting your glove wet will help break it in

      @fallspacestudios8029 2 года назад

      @@evanweinstein2627 yeah a great way to break it in is running it under hot water, and while it’s hot and damp you should use it. Throw a ball and catch it or something like that for a while, then let it dry, I usually repeat this process several times and it works great.

    I feel like the RVH is misnamed. The VH has one pad going vertical, hence the name, but the reverse does not, so I feel like it deserves its own name.

    This position is so pointless, so many goals are scored right over the goalies shoulders even at the pro level but even more at the ameuter level. You can just stand and hug the post and cover it all and be ready for a shot that comes out.

    • @kylermacintire4823

      It's useful when the pucks in tight, and at a dead angle. I think it also definitely gets overused, which is where alot of the over the shoulder goals come in imo. The pucks has to be both closer to the net and closer to/behind the goal line to really work imo. And it sucks for us short goalies especially 😂
