Yes you are correct. The reason the highlights are inaccurate is that Algeria had the ball and dominated possession but they created nothing, hence there are no shots on target to show.

The fact is that England have very good players like Rooney, Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, and many more. But the problem is that they don't know how to play as a team, or they maybe have a bad coaches. If England knew how to play as a team, and if they have a great coach, England would be one of the best teams in the world. I mean, seriously, there is nothing wrong with their players, they are all good as individually, but not as a team.

By far the most dreadful performance I've ever seen since I started watching England back in the mid 1970's. What the highlights don't show is just how much Algeria had the ball - they did nothing with it, but they were passing it around and denying England possession for much of the 90 minutes. Watching this was about as much fun as having your teeth pulled out

Algeria created nothing. They dominated possession in the game and limited England to a couple of half-chances but they didn't have a single shot on goal. I know this because I watched the match at the time - it was terrible.
