The part where Jimin is crying hard (at 7:12) is in the show in Brazil, he was very sick and couldn't sing what he wanted so he asked the crowd to sing and it was so loud and heavy that he started crying, it was a very emotional moment. This is already Jimin’s second song written for ARMY. Jiminaaa~ It’s really heartwarming. Every word in the song is full of beautiful memories of ARMY & members. Angel Jimin always surprises me. This song will also allow me to Spend this year and a half well and wait for OT7’s return💜💛
One of my favorites lyrical is "7=1" and "it's just a small comma in our story" 😭😭😭 so emotional!!! Also i love the kids singing with him on that part, amazing, so adorable!!!

Great reaction guys! Jimin started writing this when he was working on his album. If you watch "Jimin's Production Diary" , it shows these 4, Jimin, Pdogg, Evan and Ghstloop. They had like a song camp and it's at Pdogg's home. He's the guy on the left in that opening shot. He has all keyboards, the recording booth you see Jimin recording in. I think Gabriel and Daniel would freak out over the keyboards and equipment Pdogg has. Anyway, if you get a chance, watch it because it goes over how Jimin's FACE album and all his songs come to fruition.

the scenes in the beginning showing jimin walking in the street is from 2018 when bts was on tour in nyc. he uploaded pics and clips in brooklyn on twitter back then so the fact that he added unused clips is so cute. the people in the room are the main producers that jimin worked with on face (p-dogg, ghstloop and evan). that's p-dogg's apartment (he's been with bts since the beginning). that clip is was filmed during the filming for jimin's documentary for his debut album face. there's another clip at the end of the main producers and jimin celebrating his #1 on the hot 100.

One thing about BTS that will never change is them being the biggest ot7 enthusiasts. They are a family and that family completes when they have army behind them. Within bts and army there's a huge magical bond that there's no words to explain what kind of a bond we actually have with each other. But it's meaningful and beautiful just like the magic shop.

This was such an amazing gift from Jimin! I was teary eyed the entire time but I completely started crying when they showed the clip of Army hugging. I think it’s easy to forget sometimes that BTS gave us each other too 💜💜

As Jimin FACE album production diary documentary showed, and now as well here, for this song that shows he apparently worked on also at producer Pdogg’s house, Jimin wrote the lyrics, composed most of the melodies, as well as was thoroughly involved in production for all songs! The first song on the album, a must to hear, ❣️“Face-Off”, absolute fire! As well as the song ❣️“Alone”, so deep, beautiful, & emotional, comes right after ❣️“Like Crazy”, which has a full English version as well, also a ‘hidden’ song❣️ “Letter” (which Jimin wrote as a thank you to army), which can only be found on the physical album! But there is posted on YT a lyric vid for that as well. Last song spectacular ❣️“Set Me Free Pt.2”. The whole album, as Jimin has mentioned, is what he was trying to convey, pouring his heart out, his very essence, to show what he was going through, during pandemic, his emotions, thoughts, loneliness, despair, depression, that he hoped to share & have many able to relate to! Plus his voice is so beyond heavenly, stunningly beautiful, so eloquent, his ability to convey his feelings, emotions, what the lyrics are trying to say, his approach, the various tones that resonate, making you feel that much more what he’s feeling. It’s yet another equally so beautiful, sincere song meant as a gift for army, while they’re all away temporarily in the military.❣️“Closer than This” also created there as well as who knows what other songs Jimin was also working on when album was released, & afterwards. When this first released, I cried like a baby. It's my favorite song atm and will probably be my most played song for 2024. The lyrics are beautiful, and his voice is perfect. I can't stop listening to it.

🔗Interesting Info: ❣Yeon Eum Boys and Girls Choir gave enchanting harmony along with Jimin, truly captivating, especially in the latter part of the song. Jimin's charming vocals blend seamlessly with the pure vocals of the Yeon Eum Boys and Girls Choir, resulting in a beautiful and memorable performance.
Also, aside from Jimin writing all the lyrics to this song, he wrote as a fan song just for army, meant to comfort & support while he as well as all members of BTS are all temporarily away in the military, he also is credited with composing the melody! Jimin also, pretty much hand picked the clips & photos chosen that were shown. There were so many occasions that Jimin made a point of telling army afterwards, about how special those particular times were, so meaningful & meant so much to him! I also believe that some of the drawings, sketches seen in the MV for “Closer than This”, were also Jimin’s! It definitely looked like his style. Though for some reason, it’s not known as much in the fandom, Jimin is quite impressive in his artwork, as seen in some rare times during run episodes & or behind the scenes..Jimin excelled not only in art class but Jimin also took calligraphy, which shows in the way he writes as well! While that would be nice, I believe Jimin was working on CTT while he was working on FACE and his other album/songs back in 2022. Therefore it can't be a response to Army's Love Letter

Jimin started working on FACE shortly after the PTD LV concerts in Spring 2022. “Letter tở ARMY” was written after the emotional Festa 2022. While CTT was likely written before viewing “Love Letters” by ARMY, I think the music video which is obviously made recently before enlistment, DOES incorporate Jimin’s heartfelt response to ARMY’s song. 🥹💜

The part where jimin is crying and JK is hugging him is from a Brazil concert during The Truth Untold..before the concert he asked jk to sing his part if his throat hurt too much..but ofcourse ARMY started singing it and jimin just broke down..brings tears to my eyes everytime .lookup jimin crying in Brazil you can see the pain he is in trying to sing..my poor baby did his best..

I love this song so much, but I am still waiting to add it to my daily playlists, because I get emotional every time I listen to it. I have to prepare myself for it every time or I get teary-eyed. There’s something about Jimin’s voice that is so comforting and sincere and with them all gone right now, some days this song is a little too much for my emotional state. If you had told me 8 years ago, I would be like this over 7 boys I’ve never met, I’d call you crazy, but here we are and I don’t regret a minute of it.

I feel like we are communicating with each other. Like the song was created a while ago but the video seemed to be made so recently. The title visual reminds me of "Love Letters" with the purple cursive like font. "Love Letters" is a song that ARMY wrote for BTS. The Love Letters video had so many memories and concert footage so this made me feel like it was a reponse to that. Its so lovely because he said the best gift would be a song.
