  • This is my 99 stx 1100 updated with new black bumpers and seat. Motor just rebuilt a week ago. This PWC originally had a 2 piece seat and purple bumpers. The seat was replaced because the old one was rotten. The bumpers I just didn't like the purple. Spent the day buffing the paint and replacing the bumpers then shot this video. Enjoy!

I've got a cylinder head, Carburetors and other parts. I may even have a cylinder and pistons but I do not have a Crank. I may even have a Case or two. Let me know what your looking for and I can look. I do not have a complete lower end though.

@@Apollo1van Not sure what tubes your referring too. Maybe the ones your hoses attach too? If you cant find check ebay and buy another junk carb for parts.

Hey man, got a 1999 STX carburator kawasaki just like yours. Been running fantastic for years. I have a fuel premier just like yours. One question about it: Last day i started it and as always had to use the premier. The thing is that is squirted outside so the premier body (the black pump) got all soaked with gasoline. Maybe the fuel primer pump needs adjusting? tight/screw it harder? How can I solve this? I don't know if i'm explaining myself. I wanna take the jet for some days to the beach house and i want to know if this little thing could be an issue. It had never leaked before. I don't know if it leaked on the inside. It did work though (the gas got as usual to the carbs). Thank you very much!!!

If it leaks replace it. If its loose tighten it.

I have the same model. But when i start it up, it clicks over once, would that be the relay starter that needs to replace ?

So many variables to that question. motor could be seized, starter could be seized, bendix could be seized, relay could be bad, Battery could not be charged all the way or bad, could have loose battery cable, so many things to check.

@@ShadetreeJetski Harbor freight Has a buffer, The brand I purchased was Drill Master it uses 8 inch pads. There is a orange one - compound/cutting foam pad and a blue one 8 inch Polishing Foam pad. The Orange one is really all you will need. I purchased 2 of those orange pads. It is for getting the oxidation off and removes small scratches and swirl marks. I purchased both the blue and orange pads but only ended up using the Orange. I'm guessing it could look even better if I would of used the Blue polishing pad too. They also sell Meguiars Mirror Glaze. #2 Fine-cut cleaner. I did that on one side and I had some stuff I purchased at Walmart called 3m Marine Restorer & wax. For heavily oxidized fiberglass Finishes. I used that on the other side and compared the two. I preferred the 3M so I went back over both sides a second time with the 3m. But they both worked. I'm guessing I liked the 3m because it has wax and rubbing compound combined so it looked shiner when done.
